@hi5534 Really?! You never heard of a reptile fearing another reptile? how about plant eating dinosaur fearing a meat eating one? It's like a mammal fearing another mammal... the gazelle is afraid of the lion. Did you know that alligators eat turtles?

with regard to the rights, we writers of this show were slave labor. We didn't get to keep any rights anyway, so I can't very well object if you infringe on them. We were paid $3000 flat per episode and gave up everything :)
Most of the gags were mine, but I believe Diane Duane actually contributed the line "a snake!" (though I had him grabbing a snake...)
(Raptormon --- I had 5 storylines approved, but only wrote 4 scripts ... No 5 where the Tyrannos try to steal the British Crown jewels, would have been written had the series been renewed for another season.... my other 3 episodes are Dino Chips, Scents of Wonder, and Chariots of the Dinosaucers....
Dear Aureawolf ... I'm the original writer of this episode. It's very nostalgic to find it on youtube. The producer of the show and his producing partner (I think their names were Uslan and Melnicker) were from NJ and the story editors would often put the Jersey jokes into the scripts after we delivered them, to amuse the bosses .... Hi Somtow! I'm Raptormon132 & I couldn't help but read your clame of being this episode's writer. If that's true, you did a very great job writing it. I even like some of the gags you wrote into it. Like the trap wall scene, the scene where Bronto-Thunder & Genghis Rex get scared over a snake & that cute scene at the end where Ichy dances with one of the parade dancers.
I'm a real big fan of this show & this is one of my favorite episodes too.

One thing I'll say about it now as an adult is this episode proves Genghis is pathetic as a villain, to be outsmarted by primitives natives, twice. Also, why wouldn't the Dinosaucers just break out of those wooden cages? I guess they wanted to prove they were friendly and not harm the natives.
I've mentioned to others that there must have been a writer from New Jersey on the staff to have those Jersey jokes in there. ^_^ No one makes more jokes about Jersey than people from the crazy place (I'm actually a Jersey native...and can vouche for that ^_~).
A show called Dinosaucers, it started showing on tv back in 1987. It was one of many 80's animated series that focused on some sort of anthropomorphic race of characters. ^_^
I thought that was a cute part where Ichy was dancing with one of the parade dancers. I wonder if he noticed anybody watching him. (The others I mean, not everyone else in the parade.)
