I would just like to say my opinion and if your gonna bash me, know your facts. I was a fan since she came out. I know britney's voice and i listened to britney live before. Britney spears was live in Circus and if your were a fan, you would know this is fake. I had heard that the person who distorted her voice told people it was fake. examples of distort? Beyonce's and Miley's performances were distorted from other people.
It's OBVIOUSLY a fake. And anybody who's been following Britney since the beginning knows that very well. The real "mike thing" is an old trick that has been used on many artists. They take some LIVE performances here and there and distort the sound. They've done it to her, to Beyoncé and to many more to show that they can't sing live. But it's based on wrong premises. In a concert where the artist sings on a pre-recorded track she still has to sing in tune and the live vocals aren't recorded.

She doesn't have to make it a great performance because she HAS TO use a vocal track when she's dancing so much. It's impossible to sound good when your lungs and diaphram are jumping around from dancing. Same thing when she's shooting a video.
Funnily enough, here Britney is all plosives, which throw out her pouty lips more, so conforming to her look in filmclips: her sexy image has directly affected her "singing" style. Brilliant.

This is fake, and it really becomes apparent at the end. At 3:18 to 3:31, the speech doesn't match her lip movements, and if the audio was taken directly from her mic, they would match perfectly. Also, when she goes under the stage, that's DEFINITELY not her voice. She does NOT have a southern drawl like that. Just watch some clips from Britney: For the Record. It has her speaking and her recording Womanizer.

Britney spears was live in Circus and if your were a fan, you would know this is fake. I had heard that the person who distorted her voice told people it was fake. examples of distort? Beyonce's and Miley's performances were distorted from other people.

It's OBVIOUSLY a fake. And anybody who's been following Britney since the beginning knows that very well. The real "mike thing" is an old trick that has been used on many artists. They take some LIVE performances here and there and distort the sound. They've done it to her, to Beyoncé and to many more to show that they can't sing live. But it's based on wrong premises. In a concert where the artist sings on a pre-recorded track she still has to sing in tune and the live vocals aren't recorded.

She doesn't have to make it a great performance because she HAS TO use a vocal track when she's dancing so much. The audio has obviously been faked. Why would any competent producer leave a genuine mike feed on an awful singer during a live show? To amplify it or record it for posterity? For insurance purposes? Not to mention people in the front row would hear her anyway. There's also no crowd noise coming in from her so-called microphone.

I don't think she was actually trying to sound good, just have the general look of singing .. Plus she's moving around so much, she's breathing heavy in most of those clips, I doubt she sounds like that in a calm studio. Maybe still not perfect like her albums but not as bad as this .. Which is why when people do a lot of dancing in live shows they always lipsync. If someone can come up with a good example of a real live singer that dances let me know, because I haven't seen one.

well, I was at her downright awful Vancouver concert.. and yeah. It was "too" perfect. I've been to lots of concerts where the artists are singing and you can hear their breathing, they are tired, you can hear the tones in their voice... and they still sound really good.. it's live after all. BUT Britney... perfect. no chance she sings live. Had to be there to believe it. I laugh when she's "shocked" at allegations of her lip syncing.

this video was made up. i'm not a fan of hers but the voice throughout (and sound) is consistent, with somewhat of an accent and exaggerated bad breathing/ singing technique. Even if she's not a great singer, there's a minimum you gotta have after years of world tours. this is FAKE. although I'm pretty sure britney would not amaze me by her live singing at all.
