  • NOTHING is wrong with being gay. People can live their lives the way they want. GAY PRIDE!!

  • @TheEculp Thx for the comment handsome. are you native amercan & gay?

  • @sleekcartim I'm only 1/4 native american. But 100% gay. :)

  • There is no such thing as "Gay". It is made up by an immoral, unchaste society to convince those struggling with SSA (same sex attraction) to give up the struggle and live unholy, impure, and unchaste lives.

God commands us to love EVERYONE despite their sins. The Sin is to be hated, but the person committing them is to be loved. For Love is the ONLY thing that can ultimately overcome the evil that is Sin.

  • @drdst17 That's just brainwashed bullcrap.

  • @cmdrkoenig67 Nice response. But the Truth has been known to be hurtful, sometimes. However, if you accept it, it has the power to set you free. God Bless.

  • @drdst17 Set me free from what?

  • Why is the mother crying?

  • @utbecomntable I just love it how YOU always know what OTHERS are thinking. You are the expert on the human psyche, while everyone else is ignorant. They MUST be ignorant, because they disagree with YOU.

Did religion turn you into an asshole, or were you born that way? How did you get all that repulsive ME ME ME crap into your head?

I don't believe in the existence of God, any God, and certainly not that grotesque monster from the Bible. I embrace my mortality and I'm a good person. ALL LIES?

  • Wow! That is why religion is so divisive! I can't imagine being afraid for years to tell my parents if I was gay. And the parents being hailed as heroes for doing something which would come naturally to any decent parent. Religion is wonderful for those who are in it and all believe the same doctrine. But once you step outside those boundaries, you risk becomign an outcast. I guess it could have been worse...he could have come out as an atheist! OMG!!

  • @boc1953 Parents choice is easy. Unconditional love. just like they promised when their kid was born. parents, you dont want to know the alternative

  • Catholics are fucked up on SO many levels.

  • In the Berlin Zoo there were three gay penguins recently The Zoo tried to encourage them to have sex with females, by putting some female penguins in their cage.

The Berlin Gay righs movement sharply protested against this action, and called it unacceptabel and homphobic. lol

  • These people would have no trouble accepting their gay child if their moral compass hadn't been so irreparably screwed up by church doctrine. OMG why would ANYONE still subscribe to the god damned catholic church??? I would rather belong to a neo nazi organisation. They have less blood on their hands than the catholic church! See, if one of my children was gay, it would not be an issue because I am a genuinely moral person. I haven't substituted the false morality of religious doctrine!

  • @boc1953 You'd rather be a neo-Nazi? The Nazi's killed six million Jews and millions of other types of people -- including gay people -- and you'd rather be a Nazi?! Are you sure it's not your moral compass that's screwed up?

Why don't you think before you make such an ignorant statement and before you call yourself a "genuinely moral person."

  • @Detectivefiction I guess it was a rather extreme statement. Maybe I was in a confrontational mood when I said 'I'd rather be a neo nazi'. That is probably not true. What I was trying to get across is that the catholic church has been responsible for millions of deaths also, and is still telling aids ridden Africans that condoms are a sin! So in a very real sense, the doctrine of catholicism is still killing people en mass today, whereas neo nazis are not. Religion generally is very divisive.

  • @boc1953 Thanks for the explanation. I think that even when angry one should try to under- rather than overstate. You are aware, aren't you, that neo-Nazis today are responsible for violence against Jews, etc, including synagogue arson attempts? I no longer practice Catholicism, yet I find the writings of St. Augustine, Thomas Merton, etc. very enlightening. I agree that organized relgion is often -- but not necessarily -- an evil. (See the book "When Religion becomes Evil.")

  • @Detectivefiction If we want to discuss groups exhibiting violence against others, I don't think we should be making any claims about religious groups, do you?

  • Well, I never can believe that God makes "unnatural" things (whatever they are!!!). He doesn´t make rubbish either! He made me, and he made me gay. I don´t know why but God moves in a mysterious way. He certainly didn´t me to hate myself. I am gay and Catholic and that´s fine! The Pope, contrary what most people think, is NOT the Church! The Church is millions and millions of people - gay and straight!

  • @oddtreenow2 --- I have no faith in any one who does not have a profile on display ----end of discussion -- good bye and best wishes

  • @oddtreenow2 ---Science does not confirm that it is a life style choice either, the same as people who are left handed . Just think yourself if you are a hetrosexual --when did you chose to be so. I have seen many a survey asking both gay and straight people, and the overwhelming answer was i was born thie way .

You dont have to be a rocket scientist to draw the correct answer from these surveys

  • Congatulations on the parents in accepting their sons sexuality -- you know God made him as he is it is not a lifestyle choice and there are about 10% of the population are gay , similarly about 10% of the population are left handed ,similarly it is not a lifestyle choice . The churches discriminate however Jesus does not discriminate

    Look up wwwdot wouldjesusdiscriminatedotcom

  • What a beautiful family. The Father is one HOT DADDY, the mother is very beautiful and their son is very handsome. God was having a super day when he created these beautiful people, beautiful on the outside, and inside.

  • dude is freaking gorgeous

  • lmao at the mother "there's no preparation for it"....

So she was thinking something like "shit, hes gay...TIME TO PREPARE FOR THE HAPPENING!!!"

My goodness...why must we cry over this, the parents are obviously horrible people to ever think being gay is somehow a bad or hard burden to carry, at least thats the sense I get from their reactions...maybe they over did it for the cameras...lol

Ahhhh people like this make me sick...

  • My mother has a cousin with a gay son and my father has a cousin with a gay son swell. I'm sure it was hard for both families to accept at first but they wholly except it. We are all Catholics. I am all for gay rights. Gay or not, they are still their children and they should love them no matter what.

  • what? being chaste and gay are completely different things! Being gay is not a practice, it's an identity. Being chaste is a practice, it's not really an identity at all. There's nothing wrong with having a preference, right? (pro-choice, people!)

I'm glad he came out, I'm sure he was too, and I'm glad he understood the pain his parents may go through yet still is brave to come out. Adults tend to forget that children care about them too.

  • @Nomad1994 In the catholic religion, if you are gay & chaste you should not be condemned by the church. Thats why they say hate the sin, not the sinner, but as we all know, they do anyways, causing great damage, even suicides.

  • @PikSokolit You are wrong. You know nothing about gay people. You are just frustrated that society has told faith-heads like yourself to go away and talk to yourself in a dark corner.

You have lost, and you know it.

  • If he were raised in the Church, why not be faithful to its teachings and remain chaste? If I were gay and Catholic, knowing what I know about the Faith, that is exactly what I would do. So what is the problem?

  • @BalladoftheWindfish Obviously he was not told the whole truth in church. They are too caught up in the hate the "abomination / person" aspect. Kids feel shame, so they dont ask for "help" . This is extremely common practice in churches. This is why we see the majority of suicides being gay kids who know they cant change. church obviously doesnt care about the human consequences.

P.S. Can we really expect young adults to be chast their whole life? how many of us live the way of the bible

  • @sleekcartim I know I probably would not be able to be chaste all the time, but that wouldl not stop me from trying. No one ever said it was going to be easy.

  • @BalladoftheWindfish Put yourself in a gay kids shoes... there are many abominations that are not even mentioned, let alone followed. Wouldnt you feel singled out for persecution? wouldnt you wonder if the churches intentions are not pure (based on hate)? Lets be real, I dont think any young man would be able to be chaste, & also not have any other sexual outlet. What if he can marry another man, would that be ok to make love within that marriage? I dont believe bible is translated correctly

  • @sleekcartim I disagree. I think the Bible and the Church are morally consistent - if you take the time to become familiar with the reasoning behind the teachings, I do not think anyone would ascribe those intentions to the Church at all. I do agree that we are prone to sin and weakness. Again, though, that should not stop anyone who knows the truth of the Faith from trying to live up to it. It is tough, to be sure, but it is worth it.

    1/2

  • @BalladoftheWindfish strongly disagree with the church being morally consistent, they are NOT. If they were they & their following would be in jail on death row, trying to follow what "should be done" to punish abominations. Meanwhile condemning gay kids to misguided or intentional hate. also look what the church is doing in Uganda, that is NOT morally consistent. i could go on all day, if you still need enlightening. being gay, you get an education in religion whether you want it or not.

  • @BalladoftheWindfish Gay people are judged / condemned in majority of churches. If you come out to your church you will be asked to leave, or silently shunned, even if you are chast (no one will ask). My friend who commited suicide was even judged / condemned at his funeral. sorry, but I dont think you can relate. I hope you will ponder what it would be like, even if you can, you would only be half way there.

    1 LIFE

  • @sleekcartim It is a test of your beliefs. If you really believe Christ is Lord and that he founded the Catholic Church, the choice may be hard, but it is simple. It will be your cross to bear. If you want to engage in homosexual acts, anyway, than, on some level, you have begun to abstract. If you think the teaching on homosexual acts is not true and are defiant of it, then you do not really believe the Church has Christ's teaching authority (as Christ said it did). So you've begun to abstract.

  • @BalladoftheWindfish Abstracting and practising fun moves is by far a better way to live your life than following Jesus and God who want you to deny who you are (in this case, being gay)....

Test of beliefs...what the fuck....so does that mean God is testing my faith because he made me a non believer?

  • @Missrainbowmuffin It is precisely in accepting the disorder of same-sex attraction that one denies who they are, for from their head to their toe, every dot and particle on them is made for the opposite sex. And that is a radical reality if one sees it, and it is a a reality that same-sex attraction rebels AGAINST. No, following the Christ is true fulfillment of human living and brings joy to the full! How could truth bring anything less? Hopefully, these parents do not give up on their son.

  • @BalladoftheWindfish From the middle of October until next summer the Norwegian Natural History Museum of the University of Oslo will host the first exhibition that focuses on homosexuality in the animal kingdom. "One fundamental premise in social debates has been that homosexuality is unnatural. This premise is wrong. Homosexuality is both common and highly essential in the lives of a number of species," explains Petter Boeckman, who is the academic advisor for the "Against Nature's Order?"

  • @BalladoftheWindfish "Disorder of same-sex attraction" you say? Look up homosexuality in animals...my point proven :D

  • @Missrainbowmuffin Do you know how much a giant non sequitur that is?

  • @BalladoftheWindfish Also might want to revise your history, homosexuality is deeply rooted in many various cultures, from early times right through to now! If you deny that this is normal and common, you are clearly a homophobe and need to enlighten yourself by accepting same sex practices, relationships, individuals and species.... :D

This is why we have mass protests in my area, trying to fight for the men and women who cannot help but love their partners, it shouldn't matter gay or not!

  • @Missrainbowmuffin What "history" have even broached? *confused*

  • @BalladoftheWindfish Here you go, a good starting point is to look at ancient greece, amoung other cultures that commonly accepted gay practices, relationships...etc etc...look up gay history, gay art...sooo many websites dedicated to it too :D

Plenty of examples, also plenty of examples circling the many times people have tried to shun gay communities or people in general...ugggh its a sad cycle...anyways...hope this is what you meant!

  • @Missrainbowmuffin No. What I meant was that you went into an entirely different topic with the animal kingdom and history. Has nothing to do with what I said.

  • @BalladoftheWindfish I am arguing against your statement: "the disorder of same-sex attraction" and somehow the gay people are denying who they are....then you claim same sex attraction rebels against this, when clearly some hetersexuals do (like you I assume), whereas me who says "errr no Sir/Madam, you are mistaken" - so I decided to give you examples of the animal kingdom and our human history which is riddled with so many awesome examples of homosexuality being a normal thing

  • @Missrainbowmuffin Right, so how does the animal kingdom and human history do anything to touch on what I said? They don't.

  • @BalladoftheWindfish They do, they are what religious nutjobs deny or leave out because it is more proof against following the strict belief that "gays shouldn't be gays" - if you claim that, you are missing out on the evidence that homosexuality is present and common/normal :D so why bother thinking it needs to change...lol

  • @Missrainbowmuffin But I never said that homosexuality is not present and/or common. I am still waiting for you to respond to the metaphysical argument I presented.

  • @BalladoftheWindfish You said its a disorder....it clealy isn't....lol

  • @BalladoftheWindfish Hi. :) I would like to ask something. Is it okay to be in a same-sex-relationship? :) But there will be no intimate actions, only special friendship. :)

  • @BalladoftheWindfish If you want me to get into religion, which is the basis of your viewpoint, then yeah sure thing 1. Religion has always embarked upon trying to make people suit a particular image, order or structure, i like what this random said on the art history of gays website " It's up to the individual to decide how to lead his or her life.Too many people try to blame others if the world isn't exactly as they would like it to be"-which is exactly what you want, gays to be who theyre not

  • @sleekcartim Here is a third comment that I could not fit in with the others. All that being said, I hope everything works out for the best in the end. That is all we can do, right?

  • @BalladoftheWindfish The word "chaste" means acting with moderation. And everyone is called by the Catholic Church to chastity, whether you be married or unmarried. It does not mean and has never meant abstention. It is just a shame that so few people know the true meaning of the word.

  • @BalladoftheWindfish I'm like the guy @ the video and I'm 17. I agree on your statement, but sometimes, I cry. :'(( I feel so alone whenever I think about myself, being like me. :')

  • the boy is hot! I'd tap that ass

  • @bobbphysics lol

  • @PikSokolit Do not expect emotional blackmail to work on us just because it works on you. Your organization harbors a band of pedophiles, condemns condom use to poor Africas, thus exacerbating the aids epidemic there and elevates a crotchety, depressed hag to the auspices of "saint". Talk about worshipping idols. Your "church" is a pile of hypocritcal garbage. You know nothing of God. Any discerning person can see that.

  • I am pretty anti-religion but there is something about these stories like this and prayers for bobby that... keeping faith and losing the blindness is so inexplicably beautiful.

  • @DrNHand1994 real love rings so true it's undeniable

  • By the way, the boy is really sweet. Bless him.

  • Being gay is natural. It is not normal, but it is natural. Gore Vidal made a great point when he distinguished between natural and normal. Normal is what the majority of society practices, and natural is what is inborn. Your story is so typical of all parents. They have their ideas of what they want their sons and daughters to grow up to be, and when we don't , it is a blow to them. We can't help being gay, regardless of what the Church wants us to be or what society wants.

  • @bordenmartin

    word

  • @bordenmartin I am afraid homosexuality is also quite normal, according to your definition, exclusive homosexuality might not be, but homosexual feelings and experiences are widespread enough to be considered also normal. And if there were not so much repression they would be even more widespread, as well as heterosexuality among many so called exclusively gay males. Bisexuality to a certain degree is what human nature should be, allowing for a repression free social environment.

  • @bordenmartin thats an interesting statement, but its slightly inaccurate. The church teaches what God wants for us. Being gay is an orientation, its not genetic need. Breathing is a genetic need and as such if you stop breathing you will die. I know people who have succeeded in changing their orientation. Its difficult but it can happen. Being gay is not a sin. Living a gay lifestyle (being homo-SEXUAL) is the sin. A person who chooses to be in right-relationship with God, is a holy person.

  • @bordenmartin Define normal. Human beings naturally have a various sexual preferences all over the scale from straight to gay, because the majority are straight doesn't make homosexuality abnormal. It makes the prevalence of straightness along the scale of normal human sexuality greater. If human beings are naturally straight and gay, being of either persuasion is perfectly normal. Think about it.

  • @bordenmartin You should get a dictionary and look up "normal", because it's clear you don't have the slightest fucking idea how to use the word properly.

  • @bordenmartin Being heterosexual is not normal, just common.

Being straight is not a choice, neither is being gay. Being a hate-obsessed bigot is a choice.

God is a fabrication. Stop blaming God for your bigotry.

  • How come church people are not even open to the possibility that being gay is inborn and not a choice?

I'm telling u guys it's not a choice, but why wouldn't they start to think that it could be a possibility?? They are so closed to this notion.

  • @Creevie Because they close their eyes and hope the Bible will lead them to salvation or they live by a pick and choose religion...

  • brave kid very brave good luck to you mate

  • No wonder they have priests that call themselves father, dress like mother and act like, no are faggots

  • @PikSokolit Gee, we have a video on the testimony of what it's like growing up gay in a conservative Catholic home and you have nothing better to do than foam at the mouth about a people told that they must be celibate and religious having the nerve to actually join an organization promoting celebacy and religion.

    Give it up.

  • I hate how it takes somebody close to you to come out for people to accept it and want OTHERS to accept it too. If we were all just accepting in the first place we wouldn't have to worry.

  • Religions all are trying to percieve the Divine. If only they would grow into maturity, instead of being stunted in the Dark Ages.

  • FUCK JESUS

  • @PikSokolit You sin everyday and its forgiven. So they do too and its forgiven Right same logic?

  • Dear PikSokolit, thank you for those facts.

My eyes have been opened. Now, i will no longer be gay. Also, thank you for quoting scripture, and giving references. Im being sarcastic. If you are going to play God's advocate, at least include some of his concrete word to base your theology off of. Im still debating whether or not i should post this comment multiple times

  • Fuck my life, what I would give for my parents/friends reactions to me coming out to be so simple.

  • good luck with casting that first stone, mate

  • @PikSokolit

Above all things Jesus taught love and understanding so then lets just love thy gay neighbor as thy self! plus Homosexuals "must be welcomed with respect and sensitivity, and 'every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided,'" quoting the catechism.

  • @AnthosArtifex thats absolutely true. And with prayer and effort, that gay person can live a chaste life, and be in full communion with the church and with God. They will be a blessing to all who know them and a light in this dark world of sexual immortality and social injustice.

  • @PikSokolit

the new testament was written a long time ago 60 years after the death of jesus and the old testament, which is where we get the gay as an abomination was written in even older pre christian times with stories dating back to pagan Babylonian times. when it was translated into english abomination meant dishonorable not the same abomination as today! the bible also states eating pork or women not covering there hair is an "abomination" i bet you eat pork and your mom never covershair

  • @AnthosArtifex: At least someone tells that here, what i always like to tell on different occasions. Muslims like to tell Christians often that they should take the old testament (the Koran is nothing than a bad copy of the old testament btw) for serious and if you answer them: "No, we don´t", then they start acting: "Huuuh?"

3 new testaments was most probably written 30-40 years after (which is still long enough to present incorrect traditions) - the gospel of John was written 60 years later.

  • @PikSokolit You're clearly an idiot.

  • @PikSokolit also im not catholic. spiritual yes, catholic no way.

  • @PikSokolit P.S. Those priests & their protectors in the church are pedophiles. studies show gay ppl are not any more pedophiles than str8 ppl. It's like saying all str8 ppl are rapists, cuz most rapists are str8.

  • @PikSokolit Umm what about the homosexual act that jesus did, spent the night with a naked male youth, whom he was very close to (in missing scrolls of mark)? I suggest you do your homework.

    .

    1 LIFE

  • @sleekcartim it is impossible for Jesus to have done any homosexual or heterosexual acts as he was born a jew so he had to follow levicus and he couldnt do anything with women unless he were married. however i do believe their is a good chance Jesus could be bi not bisexual just bi as he was affectionate with men. also if being gay was a sin he took that sin to the cross thus if you are carrying that sin you become that type of sinner at least for the time carrying it. or so i believe

  • this video made me tear :")

  • God, that kid is GORGEOUS! Those Catholics sure know how to crank out hot Gay guys!,,

  • Thanks for sharing this video. It is an important message for so many catholic parents.

    ~~

"What have you done today to make you feel PROUD?"

    (Proud, Heather Small)

  • Your welcome :D I was so struck with this documentary, i had to include it on my channel, most of it is on my channels uploaded vids. Happy Pride month!

  • The poor guy is so troubled. His parents are troubled by his problem as well. God still loves him and will always be open to him deciding to change his life style and straighten out and ask for forgiveness.

  • Its tough to find out that any son or daughter has a disorder. May he pray to God and ask that this affliction be taken away from him.

  • The Bible says that it's ok for men to control their wives, for people to sell their children as slave and to discriminate Jews. It also says that homosexuals go to hell. But are we supposed to misinterpret everything the Bible says? If it's wrong to control wives, sell kids and discriminate Jews(despite what the Bible says),then why can't homosexuality be part of life?

  • Where can I watch the whole video??

  • most of it is on my channel

  • Good video! Does anyone know where I can watch the whole programme though?? It looks really interesting. Thanks

  • Good video! Does anyone know where I can watch this whole programme though?? It looks really good. Thanks

  • A great deal of judgement on this video and most of it from non-religious people!

Whether one finds it distasteful or not that these people are upset about their son's homosexuality it must be remembered how difficult this must have been for them. I for one think they are a beautiful and deeply spiritual family.

They have favour in the Eye of God. Haters of any persuasion don't.

  • @RosaSionis They are NOT favored by God..because God loves RuPaul equally as much as He loves John Paul. So stop perverting and condescending. Stop the H8! This is 2010 not 1910! The Bible isn't an anaesthetic to numb your senses it's a tool to enlighten. Jesus never attended church and the divine spirit that thrives in ALL of us can't be squelched by your ignorance and intolerance. Peace!

  • @charbyteU I'm pro-gay and anti-hate you idiot!

In your frenzied, irrational and hysterical crusade against anything that even looks like a religious opinion you obviously read things that are not there.

  • Thank God for parents like these!!

  • Now if only the Vatican could agree with them, that would make my life SO much easier...

  • Bottom line is they won't be crying if the world is not discriminatory.

In my view, if people will just try to accept

    and understand one another,

then their minds will be more open to things which some people don' t consider

    normal like homosexuality.

    To each his own.

As long as they don't inflict harm on others and cause pain, let them be.

  • Hate is a bible virtue.

  • They look so sad in this video, like it's a terrible thing their Son is gay. IT'S NOT! He's HUMAN like everyone else! I am a straight man and I completely support gay people. I have relatives and friends who are gay and they are not nasty people. It's funny how people contradict God. They say God created all things, menaing he must have created homosexality as well. Am I right?

  • absolutely positively right! the gay community especially loves our str8 supporters! we wouldnt have made the progress we have with you! but the fight is far from over! so THX! 1 LIFE

  • @bennjr -- yeah that's what the mother was trying to say around 2:25, that the sadness is not because the son is gay but because of the emotion surrounding his coming out. At least that's what I think, I can't hear what she is saying at 2:49

  • @bennjr It IS sad. Their oldest son will not have grandchildren. Likewise, they have to believe their son will burn in hell because the Church does not agree with it.

  • @Pride124 of coarse he can have kids. he isnt going to burn in hell

  • @sleekcartim First of all I don't even believe in hell, Im saying his parents who believe in the Christian faith will have to believe this. Unless they think that one of the major books is wrong, something hard for a christian to do.

Secondly, unless there is some new revolutionary science or crazy black magic there is no way in hell two men or two women are going to have Blood Children.

It will be possible someday, but now they can only do that with Chicken eggs.

  • @Pride124 Full "blood children" no. half blood & even adopted kids, he can call his own YES. I seriously doubt his rents believe that, they have seen the all powerful light of love...

    1 LIFE

  • @Pride124 Romans 1:26-27: For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. Their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural, and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in their own persons the due penalty for their error. BTW the son can be forgiven for his acts of sin!! He doesn't have to burn in hell!

  • wow your very piass arnt you. please, i would like to see other YT vids you make bible quote comments, perhaps your commenting on vids where ppl are shamefully wearing mixed material clothing, or perhaps your giving bible inspired tips on how to stone an unrulely child to death.... get a clue asshole

  • @sleekcartim Well bring up a topic and I shall do so. Assuming UR use of profanity doesn't over rule your intellect!!

  • I wont debate you, i am correcting you. find somewhere else to spread your church sanctioned hate.

  • @sleekcartim It would be of no use to debate as your on the wrong side of Catholics. You imply at a Catholic College, its Ok to be gay! The old hate line again. Isn't that getting old? The priest told you God loves you. He didn't validate your disorder. The Church doesn't hate gays. The gay lifestyle is a sin. The person can be redeemed. Interesting how often many gays fall back on the hate word as if it invalidates God's word.

  • church doesnt hate gays ey? so you will go to UGANDA & speak out about the church involvement in the gay GENOCIDE There??? what would jesus do? you wouldnt have a clue, sit down you ignorant apologist hypocrite! there is no "disorder" psychologists stopped calling it a disorder in 1974, after many years of terrible suffering from society fear of what they didnt understand. go spread your lies & hate elsewhere, were all full up on crazy here!

  • @sleekcartim The Church doesn't approve of killing peop[le because they are gay, the Church is not run by psychologists. Read Leviticus 20:13: Genesis 19:1-7 Romans 1:26-27: 1 Timothy 1:8-10 Why , do gays when someone who doesn't agree with their life choice often use the HATE word? Tell a serial thief his lifestyle is a disorder and if he responses, "oh, you just hate me" its Silly isn't it?

  • The church has a looong bloody history of torchure, killing, nonbelievers. Church started this Uganda gay genocide. denying these well known, easy to prove facts, leaves you without any credibility. those who misinterpret the bible for their own hateful reasons, still forcing their beliefs on non believers, including making laws to that end. Church really needs many more publicists like you.

  • @sleek cartim I said the Catholic Church doesn't approve of killing gays as its a mortal sin to take a life. U said the Church was behind this. That is a flat out lie!! I never claimed no one was dying. Again U use the hate word and using it doesn't make your right nor does misstating the facts.

  • useless denial machine, just like the church. theres no use wasting time on you... bye

  • @sleekcartim I guess your right. When confronting clarity and the truth instead of spin, you're undone. I understand completely. At least you're not using the hate word, so you have some hope. Bye

  • @sleekcartim the catholic church does not approve of killing anybody I think you are using the denial machine, it's really sad that you are fighting hate with hate. sorry to say that will never solve anything.

  • @XXXPharcydeXXX wow, your in denial big time. ever hear of the crusades, spanish inquisition, church against science, religious wars, church wiping out pagans, & many others who wouldnt join the church, and now with the Uganda genocide where Pastors are leading the genocide charge with no condemnation from the pope?? I dare you to respond with a denial response. get a clue.

  • @sleekcartim and you know what all of that is true. but it is all in the past as well we don't have crusades any more the church is against science but that is non violent at least, all that was in the past we don't do that any more. don't you see that if you spread things like "the catholics kill gay people" you are fueling a fire of hate that will only continue to fuel more hate. the truth is officially we don't kill or want to kill gay people. now it's your turn to get a clue.

  • @XXXPharcydeXXX ...OH ok, so the past doesnt count, fine. But Just know, THATS how the church gained dominance in THIS world PERIOD. How about NOW in Uganda? nothing to say? maybe you dont know the facts there? why doesnt the nazi pope speak out? check out my recent faved Uganda genocide vids, learn the terrible truth. what about the sex abuse church propagated / protected for centuries? no harm there either right? maybe you would like to deny the suicides/ lives destroyed related to it too?

  • @sleekcartim I'm sorry but you are wrong the past does count, we have done horrible things but we are not like that any more, and that is how the church gained dominance. and as far as Uganda goes the pope should say something but I really don't know what goes on there. and the sex scandals there is obviously harm there. listen I cannot say that everything that goes on is the catholic church is right because it's not people are evil and don't live by what they believe.

  • @XXXPharcydeXXX The sad fact is, the church is THEE most destructive force on the planet, UNTOLD MILLIONS were KILLED through the ages (undisputable fact). TODAY they are not so obvious (i.e. sex abuse scandal), cuz we are in the information age. So let me ask you, now that agree with Uganda genocide, will YOU speak out about it on YT & elsewhere (besides my channel)?

  • @sleekcartim sure I will.

  • what is sad is your support of a child molesting, hate spewing church.

  • @bennjr To find a son or daughter with a disorder is a terrible thing. Man has free will, so those who commit acts of homosexuality make a choice. They can stop committing the sin whenever they want. Nice try though, its God's fault??

  • HMMM one could say the same about child molesting priests, & church that protects them

  • I wanna fuck Greg... There's a lesbian bishop in Sweden religion is changing in some time we'll see a gay pope

  • i love watching this again and again...its so beautiful :'( makes me cry every time

    beautiful people inside and out

  • true that. i get a lot of PM's like urs on several of my vids. Parents feel they have to choose their faith over their kid, sad, & "god" (church) wants this? i think not. 1 LIFE

  • i entirely agree! I cannot believe that God or that truly any church would want that

i'm just glad that their are people out there like these two parents that although have clearly struggled in their understanding but have kept their son remembering him to be part of the family and supporting him. its difficult to know that there are those that arent as forgiving/understanding in this world

  • your religion of hate means nothing to me. Most biblical experts now agree that the bible was misinterpreted on this matter, but the haters still hold on tight to hateful, judgemental attitudes, even in the face of obvious evidence. love above all. 1 LIFE

  • gay men do not sleep or Lie with women at all so we don't lie with women as we do with men...idiot..

  • THANK YOU FOR THIS STORY .

  • I am Catholic and I have homosexual feelings, and i am celibate. Celibacy is a gift from God...I love it! I wouldn't trade this for anything!

  • then the "religious" ppl have no right to judge you, but they will anyways. Oh god save us from your followers, for they know not the damage they cause. good luck!

  • Thank you. I am sorry about your friend, I too abhor victimisation and intollerance from 'Christians' to gay people. Please remember we aren't all cunts though

  • thx for your kind words. but, his death shouldnt be in vain... it's not enough to abhor, one must speak out where it really counts to change the world

  • Coming out to your family and friends takes a lot of guts - even today. And, although the child (or whomever) should be prepared for some emotions, he should also be able to depend on their support.

  • This makes me love my mother even mooore! When i told my mum i was gay, she was like..... yeah, cool!

  • what a nice, uplifting story! and a handsome boy too!

  • Here is a great article written by a faithful Catholic who has a homosexual orientation; I think you might appreciate it if you get a chance to check it out:

    h t t p : / / w w w . c a t h o l i c . c o m / t h i s r o c k / 1 9 9 4 / 9 4 0 7 f e a 1 . a s p

(be sure to delete the spaces)

God bless you, my dear brother

  • They except their son for the way god made him, they wont deny the possibility of love in his life. i personally dont believe the bible was interpreted correctly on this issue.

  • I Feel the evil hierchy called the catholic church has been corrupt since day one. One day the blind following of the church, will be judged. I'm a free thinker (as god made me) dont subscribe to your religion, so...But do consider myself a spritual person.
