ok, let's see if anyone has come up with the 'HOW' to transfer files from windows to mac. Tell me if the set-up of the Samsung Story is similar to that of a flash drive, if so it should be s simple case of save to ext hard drive from my pentium 4 and open on Mac OS 10. I have a pain in the ass JVC Everio camcorder and its software is not supported by mac, hence the problem.

Well, consider the fact that this was a response to a question back in '07, and that just because it doesn't specifically refer to your question, doesn't mean it didn't help anyone else, silly. :P It's easier to wire the computers together, anyway.

on one computer, set up a playlist in itunes and share over network. then you can see on the other computer. simple.

In addition to normal network file sharing and USB flash drives, I've used Bluetooth file sharing for this a few times in the past (the requirement being that both computers have Bluetooth, of course). In fact I've been meaning to set it up between my Macbook Pro and XP laptop, because I like the fact that the Bluetooth method doesn't require me to poke any holes in my network firewalls.
