I love the movie and the hand drawn animation, but Disney shouldn't take all the credit for this movie. This movie was inspired by a book called The Princess Frog, and I read the book and let me say that Disney did not copy any of the book what so ever. However, the book said that the book inspired the movie, but nowhere in the movie have I seen that the book inspired the movie. All I'm saying is that Disney should at less said in the opening or ending credits that the book inspired the movie.

Think Tiana is one of my favorite Disney-girls. She's, like it is said in the movie, not one of those girl who is looking for their prince Charming. She's a kick-ass girl, who's worked every day in her life to get her restaurant xD

Finally something worthwhile coming from the Disney studos. Hopefully now they realize the originality and human animation of past films was what made them so memorable and enjoyable even to our ages now. I know this movie has only recently been released in theaters, but I honestly can't wait for the DVD. I saw it a few days ago and loved it! No CGI to be found! Just pure 2D hand drawn animation. Beautiful...

I have nothing against CGI in general, but I believe Pixar should be in charge of that department, while Disney should make animated films the way most of us remember them, beginning with "Snow White", which STILL looks great to this day.

What a VOICE! I've only seen clips of this movie...and this is quickly becoming one of my favorite Disney classics! Actually, despite being female, I wasn't extremely fond of most of the princesses growing up. To be honest, it wasn't until Pocahontas that I had SOME sort of a connection to one. But TIANA! I'm 23 and find her spunk inspiring! This is gonna be great for kids/adults, male/female, of any race. This is shaping up to be such a universal classic!
