For one, the Oort cloud is also purely hypothetical. Secondly the last significant extinction event was 5 million years ago, which means that Nemesis if it exists is moving father away as we speak. Thirdly there is no non-circumstancial evidence of Nemesis.
I wonder if 2005 YU55 and ellienev are these types of objects that are effected by nemesis.
