I wonder if the people of NY wouldn't throw their garbage on the street and keep the city so filthy, that the rats would dwindle. I always see garbage everywhere in pictures and videos of NY. I saw a rat carrying a whole slice of pizza in subway.. WTF? If your subways and cities are a cesspool what do you expect and who can you blame?

I visited NYC and I saw a giant rat in the subway. It was as big as a beaver. Then we got lost and ended up in some sort of creepy spiral subway service stairway. It was dark and covered in dirt and went on forever and cartoon-like pipes were jutting out in our path. A good time was had by all.

i just moved out of lower manhattan and the rats in the subway were something. one day, there was a rat carrying a full sized fast food biscuit and it was a rather funny thing to see. also, my little chihuahua chased one when her leash got away from me and she had it cornered and the poor little rat was frightened to death & panting. i grabbed my dog and didn't let her touch it. you get used to them. you don't want them putting rat poison everywhere because so many people walk their dogs.
