awesome technique dude!!! where all tthis technique come from? I used to train under Daniel Gracie and now Paulo Guimaraes and I never seen some of your escapes like scissor sweep escape and others.....
I like this escape very much, good job with the videos guys. I am a Muay Thai fighter he just started taking up Jiu Jitsu to compete in Muay Thai, and your login name is exactly how I feel when it comes to striking as well, "Technique always prevails over burte strength". Good work! Hope to use some of your techniques the next time I roll. Don't worry about the haters, everyone tries to act like they are the shit.
Great move and i tried it on BJJ training and it worked BUT if you do it a few times then they know the sweep and they gonna counter it like for example straighten the leg out that you want to "chop" to scissor. But it's not the end because then you have to work for something else.Counter on the counter!!!!!
technique over brute strength. i can honestly say this is a refreshing video. a lot of the other videos are more for "THROW HIM IN THE AIR LIKE A HOT POTATO"
Are you trapping his left arm with your head to keep him from posting it? Either way it's a good way to create space and escape even if he posts. Thanks for your videos.
oh come on, the guy has to have his butt about 18 inches in the air even for the video.A white belt with 2 weeks training wouldn't make that mistake at our school.
Is that a nice way of saying that none of your guys can ever replace guard from side control? Because you would have to be able to create space in order to get one leg in before you could replace your guard. I guess that your white belts wouldn't allow that either???
I can't wait to see your white belts at the world championships. Their going to do great.
I must have missed it when brown and black belts stopped using the basics to win. Thankfully there are some people on youtube to remind me that I shouldn't be paying attention to what I'm taught at the gym and instead going by their retarded comment to good videos.
Its so ridiculous when people say. "oh, well, he could do this, or he wouldnt do that, blah blah..." Its all about options and opportunity. You must learn and train as many different techniques as possible. That way, when the opportunity arises, you will have options to choose from. This is called EXPERIENCE. Noones sidemount is the same. Everyone rolls different. TRAINFIGHTWIN, thank you for sharing your techniques with us.

thats not a very strong side control mount anyways. ID WREK THAT
2pumps2glory 3 years ago
Of course you would... Because you're the man...
TechniquePrevails 3 years ago
decent technique for a white or maybe even a blue belt, but a brown belt would not have such a crappy base on his side mount.
Valetudo21 3 years ago
Course not... Probably not worth learning or training at all...
TechniquePrevails 3 years ago
A brown belt still has to give up a bit of base to do his attacks.

very nice... i've always tried to just reestablish guard if i have that first knee in... i will definitely try this next time
