  • This is the 3rd time Panucci screwed up in a major tournament.

In World Cup 2002, his sloppy clearance allowed South Korea to get an equalizer, and eventually the Italians fell to a legendary giant-killing by South Korea.

In Euro 2008, Panucci was responsible for this goal (he played Van Nistelrooy onside) and also for the penalty against Romania (which was thankfully saved by Buffon). Good riddance

  • anyone who watches this and thinks the italian is playing the dutch onside needs to be takeen to a dark room and get a severe kicking.

  • hoe lelijk haha

  • @Coripha

i agree, in the books, this is a goal. But this is a rule they should change because if you watched the match, you would see that he'd been down for a while now, and if he was injured, theres nothing he could really do.

  • 1:14 is the most funniest part.

  • @OperaNano And the best part is 1:26

  • Thats not funny..

  • You guys need to see about the rules! If the player is off the field without permission of the ref, he is still an active player of the game. So, no Van Nistelrooy does not score in offside position.

  • if the player is not off the field when that phase of play starts then he IS playing everyone onside, as in this case, when panucci slid off the field seconds before

  • are you dumb , they player has to be in the feild !

  • @behboad are you dumb,he needs permission from the referee to get off the field otherwise he is still an active player

  • oh wait I didn't see that :/

  • he is not off filed beacause referee doest giv him permission to

  • its a picture not a vid, so upload it to some image website you fucking twat. half a chromosome off downes i think so

  • he is outside of the field - offside!

  • i'm a refree ad i agree it's not offside

  • @ManuelLombardi22

so you are a refree who doesn't know the rule... :(

  • @gildouche1 @McBane10 Read up on the rules. Even though he stepped "OFF" the pitch, he is still considered "in play"

Have a google of a few articles about the rules.

  • @gildouche1

the rule say if a player goes out during the game (not when a refree stop the game) it's part of the game so there Panucci goes out for a contact with Buffon and it is part of the game.

(I know that my english it's so fucking bad but it's not my language)

  • So what, it was 3-0 anyways. If it would be 1-0 then i understand the discussion, but Italy didnt stand a chance that evening.

  • my face : -.-

  • I stared at the picture for a minute and i still couldnt tell what it was

  • in the past was no offside but now it is not offside

  • wtf i thought i typed in youtube into the address box not google images

  • he isnt on the pitch, so how can he be included in an offside decision?

  • @McBane10 are you stupid? read the comments below explaining it...

  • @MARAin3rror Silly person, the player is NOT ON THE PITCH so therefore he is not playing van nistelrooy onside, he is not included in the referee's judgement. This means that the player IS OFFSIDE because there is no one playing him onside.

  • maak jij zol lang een filpje voor een foto PPPFF

  • Hey loser. If a player is off the field, he doesn't count for off-site. Learn the rules before you post this!

  • @RuudPen He does, learn your rules. He went off the field by his own.

  • He's off the field DumbFuck

  • @trip3l2008 A player isn't allowed to go off the field without the permission of the ref. So if you go lie behind the goal line you are basically the last player and you are viewed as being on the pitch. This call was correct by the linesman. Different question is if the ref should have stopped play when someone is injured, but that's not the linesman's duty

  • @trip3l2008 so if the whole defence just stood outside the field it the game would keep getting off sides

  • @Alphaigniter Yeah unless they time there run before the half way line!

  • @trip3l2008 was a new rule at the EC, players off the field still count as on the field, DumbFuck

  • @M2ovies So if a players off the field with for example a broken skull and recieving attention hes holding everyone on side ay? DumbFuck

  • @trip3l2008 yup, that was the rule on the EC.

  • @M2ovies Thats kinda stupid!

  • @trip3l2008 read the offside rules, does not matter

  • @trip3l2008 You are worlds biggest mistake.

  • @ThomasSlagt3r You being born was the biggest mistake.

  • @trip3l2008 thats the whole joke.... "DumbFuck"

  • @96MacSte oh my smd ;D

  • @trip3l2008

HAHAHAHAHAHA who's theDumbFuck.. LOOK at the RULES of the GAME!

a Player when GOING OFF THE PITCH WITHOUT the permission of the Referee is taking part of the game... OTHERWISE it would be easy to put people OFFSIDE everytime a Free kick is taken.. everybody can just go behind the last line..

YOU ARE so ignorant! GO TO FIFA.com and look at the rules!

  • @Coripha oh my people still commenting on this

  • it is because the offside rule states that if a player from the opposing team is off the pitch (the italian dude) and there are no other defenders in front of the attacker (van nistlerooy) then it is offside. get your facts straight

  • are you using donkey's brain

  • it is offside ! he lays out of the field.

  • where is 0:25?

  • @FMmadness in your comment

  • @theonlyonimod that you quoted

  • Should rename in .jpg

  • no offside

  • Off the pitch = OFFSIDE

  • it wasnt the dutch fault. it was the referee. what about the other 2 good goals that holland scored

    forza italia

  • Dickbrain !!!

  • It is offside as the italian was Off the pitch.

  • @glissem No hes not. Just because he is outside the lines does not mean that he isnt on the pitch.

  • wow nice vid man well done....

  • Actually the player does count for offside, he went down in action away from the pitch, than he is still in play. I he got injured, and than got off the pitch there wouldn't be a problem.

  • He has not been rule out yet. So it counts as offside. If he had got up and entered the field and blocked the shot, it would have been fair, right? So it is fair to call it offside as well.

  • omfg 1 minute look to a picture @ youtube is not 4 picture,s

  • nice goal, totally not offside since a player is lying behind the goalline.

People who says it is offside, should not watch soccer. Leave it to real guys

  • @thecurse98 idiot. he's not on the pitch

  • Powned !!!

  • lol players not on the pitch doesn't count as an offiside !! idiot !!!

  • YOUTUBE NOT FOR PICTURE'S ... !! DAMN !!

  • and this picture last 1:26 min ... omg

  • omg you tube is not 4 pictures

  • the lines man.. is a woman..

  • ya hes off the field hurt! so it doesnt count as off sides! if u play soccer like i do u would know that! so no off sides fair goal

  • if the last person is over the backline.. he is off the field.. then van nistelrooij is offside :S

  • @ricderks Euhm, no! Read the rules!

  • @2psah if someone is hurt and lies behind the goal he does not count as player so it is actually off-side

  • @Chris86019 Actually, a player can never withhold himself from the game. In this situation, even when he's hurt. Keep in mind its by his own keeper, and not by a player of the Netherlands.

  • @Chris86019 but if you watch moving footage, he was never acknowledge as injured, as he was hurt only seconds before the goal.

  • He was hurt so he lays at the side of the field

    I saw the game

  • zmarnowałem minute dwadziescia szesc sekund mego zycia ogladajac ten flim

:> Łapencia w góre kto polak

  • 447k views? O.O

  • the art of videos. HAH.

  • Fifa law 11.11 "A defender who leaves the field during the course of play and does not immediately return must still be considered in determining where the second to last defender is for the purpose of judging which attackers are in an offside position.

  • @suckieduckie its a joke

  • Such a defender is considered to be on the touch line or goal line closest to his or her off-field position. A defender who leaves the field with the referee's permission (and who thus requires the referee's permission to return) is not included in determining offside position."

  • It is not offside the player did not get permission to leave the pitch. So the player laying on the ground is still in the game.

  • omg, there's a vagina chasing the goalie?

  • hahahaahhahahaahahahahahhaahahha

  • Errrm rules of the game, if a player is off the field he is not legally in action so he was offside. Case shut.

  • @galexy21 rules of the game, when a player leaves the pitch without permission of the referee, he is still part of the game, wether hes on or off the pitch and therfore negates the offside.

  • who puts a picture on youtube for 1:26?

  • Dude that girl got really big ones try pressing 6!

  • omg so action packed

  • Who other has pressed number 3!!!

  • @LeoMessi2005 i dont get it ;/

  • @LeoMessi2005 you got me !

  • @LeoMessi2005 wats that suppose 2 mean

  • @me16739 There was a top comment :"Press Number 3 It is funny as shit" And I wanted to know how many victims ;)

  • how did this get lots of views

  • HAHA!!

  • @paulcowie95

he cant just go outside the pitch area..if he would not be counted as a playing player anymore, then everyone could use that tactic as an offside-trap, and that would be really unfair for every striker, so it is not possible. that is why he is still playing, and it was the right decision to accept the goal

  • PLease go cry by you're mama!

For all the dumbasses who can't see the joke of this :p

It's ment to make people laugh not an serious perspective

  • go play some chess fool

offside don't mean layin outside the field..

  • gta ripper you are a mongol

  • he's out of the field so he isn't offside

  • yes he is cuz the italien player is off the game

  • that italian player is injured dumbass he is not in the game dont know anything about football

  • @GTARIPPER dont know anything about football

  • xD

  • its offside, the player isnt in the field

  • so when u quickly step out of the line of the field u can actually avoid an opponent's goal? No, the keeper injured his own player, and the player went outside without the reffs permission, 100% clear goal.

  • he's off the pitch, so he's not in play :'(

  • i dont remember this game having a dark circle

  • hij hoort gewoon te tellen hoor:p

  • he is off the pitch and is therefore out of play, so it is offside, learn the rules before you complain

  • @Scottcampbell1995

Too bad the Fifa begs to differ.

  • @Scottcampbell1995 no because he didn't go off with the refs permission, learn the rules before you tell others to.

  • Comment removed

  • this has 352 too many likes

  • The player out side off the field doesn't count lol

    no.

  • press number 3 constantli.

    it is funny as shit

  • if the player is outside the field without the referee's knowledge/permission, he is deemed to be still in the field and the offside will follow to wherever the last man is standing.

  • hes not involved with the play so hes not off

  • it's not our fault panucci felt tired and in need of a nap that day.

  • its not offside because soccer is gay. get a life idiots.

  • @brad1441

Oh look at thise cute boy trying to be a little rash on Youtube.

Perhaps you hate soccer because you are too stupid to play it?, yeah, sure, all soccer players got a girlfriend, or, at least a friend, and someone like you, it's the one that need a life.

  • thats not offside if the player is out the field...

  • Why would they come up with such a weird regulation? Imagine you are a defender, close to your goal, and too lazy to keep the opposing striker offside by running ahead of him all the time...instead, you decide to step off the pitch, and pretend you had to tie your laces, or were injured...this would put the striker offside (since you are off the pitch, and now there's only the goalie between the striker and the line, which puts him offline the moment the ball is passed forward his way)

  • The player is counted as being on the goal line, and therefore on the pitch (even if he's clearly lying 3 meters behind the line). That means that the goalie and him are the two opposing players between the striker and the goal line...if the player had left the field with the refs consent (usually happens when play is stopped, eg before a corner or free kick), the player would NOT count as on the pitch. In this situation, it would be offside (only one opposing player between striker and goal)

  • "an opposing player cannot be offside when one of the last two defenders has left the field of play" ....the goalkeeper is no defender !!! it's offside !!

  • @hunterbeta the goalie is counted as a defender for offside purposes...two defenders usually means the goalie and an additional field player (since the goalie is usually very close to the goal line)...but, it could be two defenders as well. Example? Your "expert" goalie misjudges a corner kick or high pass into the penalty box, failing to intercept it. In this case, the goalie quite often is not one of the last two defenders (could be the 2 guys who stood at the inner posts during the corner)

  • Oh ho ho ho...

It is funny because it is not offside!

  • its no offside

  • If a player is off field injured.... He doesn't count has a player at that time... o0

  • @all the disbelievers or whatever you wanna call it:
