The instrumentalists are doing pretty much the best that can be expected within the limited pizz. & scratch material the only suggestion that I would make to them would be to strive for a more beautiful rounded sound that is more ingratiating to the ear... especially with the limited register that they are allowed ... no range? ... well then ... give me sonics :)

This piece is a minimalist study without the attractiveness that classical minimalists can inject into their works with attractively shifting harmony and melodic suggestion ... The piece would be slightly improved by slowing down the tempo by half and instructing the instrumentalists to play legatissimo (as if in a dream) ... another improvement might be made by downwards transposition to explore the lowest registers of the instruments to lose that irritating scratchy sound as much as possible .
