the iPod touch comes up as a digital camera always, so this method will never work. The only way to get your songs onto your computer is to burn them onto blank CDs and import them into your library. Sorry peeps, I know how much this fucking sucks.

@loveaffair79 If you have Itunes on your computer insert the CD while Itunes is running and it should prompt you to add the songs to your itunes library. If you select that option it may take a while for the songs to convert and add to your itunes library. If you use a windows computer Windows media player will do the same thing but it will add the songs to your documents. Hope I helped :D

if the songs cant come into the itunes.. open the 01 02 03... maps and take the wired name songs into itunes. IT WILL WORK ONE THE SAME MODE.. just take a longer time.. but it WORKS

@littlemisskinnyjeans Ok so for everyone who gets digital camera instead of ipod its probably because you are using an iPod touch or an iPhone.When I made this tutorial there was no bug in this method but now iPod users need to download and use this method on iFunBox instead of Windows Explorer instead.Just google it up and download it.

Also you can open the folders in the desktop and select all the individual items and drag in bulk to itunes I did 1040 songs in less than a minute! brilliant stuff

@streetdancer0001 I had the same problem and i was bored so i just tried ifunbox to see if it works and it does so google ifunbox and download the only download bar on the right and it should open an application on your computer and then on it go to recover lost music and the right click all the songs and do copy to computer.
