  • 198 running bone stock isn't too bad actually

    There is no start, it either does or it doesn't.

    If it does, that's your ass. Why? Because you have to tear the bitch down and replace what you screwed up. Get an rtec and a wideband. Quit dicking off before you cost yourself more work and money. I'm not knocking you, it'd just be a shame if you popped that motor because it's running funky. Could be bad injectors, could be a weak ass fuel pump. Fix it and then rape it.

  • @terribleoneprimopro this guys right, i got the rtec7 ecu and wideband, when i got the bigger turbo and started upping boost the tuneable rtec with the wideband really helped me and im sure with out it i would have ruined my motor.. sure it may cost a bit much but not as much as anew motor or a rebuild kit.

  • Good stuff!! Where is this at? That's probably the lowest mileage FC I've ever seen.

  • 200rwhp is actually about right and quite healthy for a stock engine.

    Power (Approx.) Series 5: 161hp (120kw) (Series 5 13B EFI), 195hp (146kw) (Series 5 13B Turbo)

  • yeah but if you read what i wrote i said the dnyo is not reading flywheel. i know thats what there supost to be but you have to remember dnyos are off sometimes i know people who have dyno at one place put down like 350 then went to another an put down like 330

    If it's supposed to have 195hp at the Flywheel (it looks like a S4 though, so maybe even 181hp), how do you account for it gaining power through the Drive Line??

  • like i said some dynos read differnt for all we know he could go to another dnyo an put like 185 who knows.. an thats whats they say dude rotarys are hand made so some of them make bbetter power than others

  • @matt921 Well who knows they said the car was completely stock yet the stock rims aren't on it. Perhaps he did drive line work as well :/ also lightening the flywheel effects the power to the wheels more than most people think especially when they have taken a good 10 pounds off it.

  • an now that i think about it that is kinda odd that it makes 200 even if it is 181 fly wheel hp how can it gain like 50 whp odd but i know what your saying but like i said some motors are more power full than others

  • Also they said it started to Detonate, Detonation + Higher than usual HP makes it seem highly likely that they've wound the Boost up.

  • alot of dynos can calculate the flywheel hp from the runif you set them that way.

    Mine had a Pod, Exhaust, Microtech LT10S, EBC running 14psi and pulled 185hp atw.

  • Something is HORRIBLY wrong if you're only getting 185 hp with all that stuff. And is that on the stock turbo? Because anything over 10-12 psi on the stock turbo is a waste of time.

  • Mate, STOCK FC RX7's are meant to have 195 hp....... at the flywheel!

    How do you account for extra hp through the driveline?
