Why can't everybody just live there Lives and just drop everything. why should you care what other people believe in, why can't Christians and atheist live in peace, why do they have to constantly debate about things. Just "Let it be", seriously.
People are mad at the myth that has been used as justification over millenia to commit unspeakable acts of violence and the suppression of human advancement.
@xxMustardTigerxx Brother, that's man-made religion. Read about Jesus' teachings, it was loving all. Those who agree, those who disagree, those who love you, those who persecute you.
the guy doing the introduction needs to back off the stage a bit. He steps on the performers spotlight a bit...kinda like how soundmen like to be more important than the bands. But wow...that rap was great and heavy. Thanks for posting. Weird how true it is that people hate Jesus. What they don't realize is the message of Jesus is not the same as the politicized Christianity. They don’t realize that all truth is exclusive. Some think they mutated from a fish...but i'll take history and Jesus.
Atheists are not mad at the tooth fairy or Jesus. We are mad that most people who follow Jesus are holding back potentially life saving stem cell research. Mad that they want to tell gays how to live their only life here on Earth. Mad that contraception is somehow still more evil than getting STD's. Mad that children born into this world may never get to fully appreciate nor understand the physical world around them because of the false Science contained in these ancient texts.
@RegularSmith all bias and intolerant...way too much pbs, not enough real life. Too much hate, not enough truth. Weird to think how every sentence you wrote is from some intolerant punk rock song. The world view of Jesus is what allows you to have all those backwards beliefs...the world view of Jesus is what provides the protections for you to hate. The constitutuion, and amendments were based of the bible you hate. If you take out all christian values you would have a whole different world...
intellect meets artistry, meets truth. fantastic. loved it.
now quick! everyone start discussing things they don't fully understand, and haven't taken the time to really look into so that everyone on both sides looks like ignorant jerks!
these words aren't for discussion, they are for pondering. grace and peace fellow co-heirs.
@BrandenTolle1 I don't think that grationator and I were becoming jerks. I really wanted to know what they were mad at specifically and why.Any further discussing would of went to inbox. I never wanted to take away from the poem, it's great.
@BrandenTolle1 1 Peter 3:15. We're called to defend. A response to the historically inaccurate claim that Jesus was inciting a rebellion because of taxes to further Judaism (!?!?) is not only in line with this principle, I'd go as far as to say it parallels the heart of this video which, essentially, is vying for the truth of Christianity in the public circle. You may be content to set by, and God bless you, but I'm here to offer a reason for the hope that lies within. God bless
@candicoatedbonbon I wouldn't be upset at Jesus if I knew him. Since each disciple wrote opposing claims of how Jesus lived, so more than likely Jesus would just be a prophet for Judaism trying to incur a rebellion against the Romans imposing taxes on the poor. Jesus historically is martyr but not for the reason people worship him.
@grationator I find it convenient that you didn't even respond to candicoatedbonbon's point about martyred disciples persisting in the belief that Jesus rose from the dead. The only remotely sustainable objection to this point that even the vast majority of secular historians affirm is that it was mass hallucination. William Lane Craig and Gary Habermas deal with this issue expertly. Look them up if you haven't already. Their debates (especially Craig's) are easy to find on here
@grationator I also must say that I find it interesting that atheists are even willing to argue away a moment of their finite existence with people who are obviously delusional about a myth perpetuated by folks desperate to believe there's more to this life. And on that point, I don't see why an atheist would have an issue like this. On atheism, life has no purpose and no objective meaning. The happy-delusional life seems the most utilitarian. Why interfere with ignorant bliss???
He's correct. You can't be mad at a myth and no Atheist has ever been mad at Jesus the son of God because he is a myth. He's just as real as Thor and Zeus and the tooth fairy and Santa Clause. We only get mad at religious people who seem to think that it's logical to claim that their faith in Jesus is rational in comparison with the thousands of other religions and all the science that contradicts faith in Christ.
@grationator Wouldn't you really have of a problem with the historical Jesus who was said to have made claims about himself, and his disciples/apostles who continued in his claims and testified to being eyewitnesses unto their deaths because of him?

Great! Many very true points in this video. We all need Jesus, it's hell without him.

@BrandenTolle1 And you most certainly are correct about the artistry/truth aspect. Wonderful idea here. Very much enjoyed it.
