  • one of the best dynamic duo in nba history

  • Too bad the Utah Jazz that they didn't win a championship they were a great team. I think Jeff Hornacek is underrated player for the Jazz because the focus of the offense was Malone and Stockton.

  • the two biggest loosers in NBA history. 0 titles in 20 years of career hahahahhaha :)

  • stockton to malone is like nash to stoudemire...........

  • Oh my GOD!

That guy got CLEANED OUT at 00:38

  • BEST 1-2 PUNCH EVER! nash & amare coulda had 2nds not no mo

  • type "short guy dunks" in the youtube search box to see a 5'5 guy dunking a 10ft hoop

  • That boy got ERASED by Malone at @0:39! Damn!

  • @MegaAshboy that was Iarish Thomas lol

  • Happy Birthday John!

  • magic john chauncey steve live forever

  • stockton sounds like nash

  • dese guys reminds me of steve nash and amare stoudemire

john stockmon even sounds like steve nash lol

  • only MJ could stop them

  • @bundeligafan it is not only MJ that can stop them... Dont forget about Dennis Rodman, he is fuckin great defense and rebound, thats can stop on Karl Malone -_-.. and When Bulls wins was MJ' game

  • @chrisbank2

true, i think if Mark Eaton played with Karl Malone and John Stockton, i think the Jazz could have had a much better chance if of beating the Bulls.

Mark Eaton was a 7 ft 4 centre, who holds the highest career BPG in the entire league (3.5 per game)

he also holds the record for highest BPG in a season (5.56 per game)

  • Karl Malone is my fav player to this day, John Stockton was the man and a true legend and no one can compete with him.

  • Stockton and Malone shattered many NBA records while playing together.

  • I miss Stockton and Malone... Especially Stockton though. He was such a great athlete, but then also off the court he was a great guy. I wonder what he's up to nowadays...

  • almost seems like malone has a lebron like attitude.. just having fun

  • Ya, the good ol days....Gotta miss em =\

It's too bad John Stockton and Karl Malone didn't have an equivalent high caliber center. If we could have had a TALL/BIG, non-clumsy center to help rebound/block, we would have been unstoppable. We had Jeff Hornacek and Brion Russel for 3's, Stockton/Malone for assists/points and defense. The ONLY thing we were missing was a top-notch center....instead we had Ostertag. =\

    No rings, but

    All-time Points = 2nd Karl

    All-time Steals AND Assist = 1st John!

  • I think nobody deserved a Championship ring more than John Stockton. He was the best in the league at that time, and I really think he should have won a ring for all his hard work.

  • Agreed, he almost never missed a game and always was there when a big shot was needed. Outside of Magic, he is the best PG to ever play the game. Ever. Stats and consistent performance are the proof. Sure, some guards might have had streaks where they played better (Isiah for example) but for a body of work nobody can touch Stockton. Magis was just out of this world, he could dominate a game without taking a shot.

  • I talk to alot of my friends who play basketball, I say "ever heard of Karl malone or john stockton?"

they say "er no" (obviously they know michael jordan) lol

Im frankly amazed, these two were the machine in the 90's,

Im from the UK,,, I support Utah Jazz. and Im big fans of these two players

  • @neb1029 if your friends haven't heard of John Stockton or Karl Malone they must not be very big fans of basketball, or at least of the NBA. Would they know Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Julius Erving, Wilt Chamberlain, etc...

  • @neb1029

I live in Wales and I met a guy at a court who was just amazing. He was 30 years old, about 5'9, could touch the rim and was making 3 pointers on the turn. I like to think I can defend quite well and I not only had 4 inches on him, he was "taking it easy" because he had just come out of hospital a month previous, with a collapsed lung. Of course I got destroyed. I asked him who his favourite player was. He told me John Stockton.

  • Man I forgot how athletic Karl was when he was younger!

  • Malone was a beast!

  • STOCKTON to MALONE

  • STOCKTON AND MALONE! :)

  • Steve Nash sounds like John Stockton.

How appropriate considering the similarities between Nash/Stoudemire and Stockton/Malone. Stockton and Malone were craploads better of course, but just sayin.

  • 0:38 holy shit! Malone doesn't allow dunks!!

  • even if it means breaking every bones! lol

  • John Stockton looks like the guy in passion of the christ movie

  • 1:44 hahaha

  • Comment removed

  • John doesn't like being interviewed. I can feel it . LOL

  • John Stockton and Karl Malone ?

    or

Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal ?

  • probobly shaq & kobe by a little

  • wrong

  • Kemp and Payton are awesome players, but full credit to guys like Stockton, just an average guy, average height, yet could mix it with the best in the NBA

  • the reign man and gp were the best 1-4 combo in my mind...but all respect to stockton and malone.they were great also

  • lmao @ 2:49 dude got shitted on bad lolol

  • stockton to malone, BEST COMBO EVER, accept it. nothing but class act for my man j. stockton. too bad his hof induction will be overshadowed by the womanizing, lying, racist, jordan.

  • stockton's induction into the hall of fame will be overshadowed by jordan cause jordan was the best to ever play the game and oh by the way i think 2 of his 6 rings came because stockton and malone (the best combo ever) could not deliver...lol

  • well the bulls were a better team than the jazz.

  • yes! but jazz are the only teams that can stand against bulls. 97 finals chicago's opponent is utah jazz. 98 finals chicago's opponent utah jazz.

  • Look up Stockton and malone highlights and then tell me they weren't exciting

  • didnt sell enough jerseys. they'll never let the jazz win it!

  • damn nba propoganda squad aka "the referees" screwd these

  • What the hell?? Payton and Kemp? Payton is a legit hall of famer but Kemp cant hold the jocks of Malone or Stockton!!

  • malone and stockton were so boring...

i respect theyre hard work and durability...but as far a electrifying and amazing goes they are deadlast.

shawn kemp and gary payton were the best 1 and 4 combo ever...stockton and malone only made it to the finals after the duo in seatle broke up......much respect to malone and stockton but the reign man and GP are #1...payton is a legit hall of famer ,kemp wouldve been too if he only kept the desire...a prime kemp always gave malone a truckload...FACT

  • King louis is right! Remember when they selected Shawn Kemp as 1 on the 50 greatest of all time. You don't see them giving that honor to Stockton and Malone. Oh wait....

  • lol.....i respect the mailman and stockton but they were never exciting.yes they were effective and extremely durable...of course theyre gonna put up great #'s.look how long they played together.....but utah

only made it to the finals after seatle broke up gp and the reign man....

with the western championship on the line in 96,kemp and gp beat malone and stock ..and they beat them with theyre electric style.if seatle only kept them together ...kemp payton=best 1-4 combo

  • check out the 96 wcf

kemp outplayed malone while beating the jazz in 7......

    just a fact for you....

malone only made it to the finals after kemp left seatle..

malone couldnt compete with kemps athleticism...numerous dunks on the mailman in that series...

  • I checked that out, good point! I will say, IMO, electric style is not a good thing. That goes for Karl Malone too. It's ego at it's worst. See John Stockton for what I think a player should do on the court. Just my opinion.

  • payton and kemp

    could compete with them

  • kemp and payton always gave utah too much to handle....malone and stockton were durable and precise but they never got u out ur seat like gp and the reign man use to.....if only that duo from seatle stuck together...now seatle doesnt even have a team, thats theyre karma for treating a great player like shawn kemp like garbage and trading the reign man for vin baker.....idiots

  • truuu

kemp and payton were the best 1, 2 punches in NBA history.

+ the best alleyoop duo .

its sad to see em not playin anymore

people dont give kemp enough credit i agree.

but for real.. Kemp and VC are the BEST ingame dunkers in NBA history.

  • gp and kemp best alley oop duo no doubt, kemp and vc are the top 2 dunkers in history.......

no other pf in history or today can give u highlights everygame like the reignman...not 1.....

    kemp is an inovator

  • kemp and dominique did showtime dunks during the game, with people guarding them...kemp should have one the dunk contest the yr they gave it to dee brown.

  • seattle use to do utah cause the glove was in stockton's daisy duke's with him and the mailman would get reigned on by kemp.

  • lol...fact

  • yeah then the rainman got fat and shit and malone dealt with. i like payton tho. tho stack was better (better passer and shooter)

  • Man I miss those days. You could afford season tickets on a college student budget, games at the Salt Palace and seeing great players everynight...

  • I'm a Lakers freak for life but I must confess these 2 guys were incredible - you want to stop Karl Malone? you better bring a shotgun or something, he's like a train on the loose.

  • The best duo of all time!

  • these guys should of won a championship. The Jazz were my adoptive second team after the bulls. Then we got the Raps and ive been a dino's fan since

  • go on with your dinos.

  • at least i have stayed a jazz fan, no matter what. how many so called bulls fans are left.

bunch of front runners. let me guess, you became wizards fans, and now you don't watch. or wait, now you are cleveland fans.

  • Dude, who cares about *those* guys? If you've been a life-long Jazz fan, then great. That's all that really matters. Why bother with the Chicago-Washington-Cleveland fans?

Your Jazz were pretty good this year, I must say. Props.

  • appreciate it, all i'm saying is that everyone i knew around here in austin, texas were rockets fans, and then when the bulls started winning, they switched teams. i have nothing but respect for fans in the nba cities that stay true to their teams, i cannot stand the front runners, or casual fan who roots for the team with the most wins, etc. how many celtics fans are going to come out of the woodwork?

  • Good points all.

  • peace out, man, do you think this series ends in game 5? 6? 7?

  • Probably 6, unless the Celtics choke at home...

  • ...which they didn't! :D

  • I love those old NBA videos

    Who is the narrator?

  • Sounds to me like Jim Fagan in this one. You know, "THIS IS THE NBA ON NBC!" That guy.

  • These 2 deserved a championship just as much as anybody... Ever... Stupid Bulls....

  • Stupid Bulls? How about the stupid Lakers, Rockets, Suns, Spurs and Sonics? All the teams that kicked the Jazz's butts in the playoffs during the Stockton to Malone years...

  • The Jazz eventually got passed them... The Bulls were the ONE hurdle they couldn't get over to get themselves a ring. That's why I say "Stupid Bulls".

  • Certainly, the "Stockton to Malone" Jazz team will go down as probably the best team to never win a title... Unfortunately for them, they didn't reach the finals until the end of their careers, the window just got too small for them... And they never got that 3rd superstar to take the pressure off Stockton and Malone...But if you're a Jazz fan, I'd be hyped with the team you've got now... I can hear it now, "Williams to Boozer"...

  • You've got a good point. They did need to get there a little earlier in their career to really get a good shot at it. It wasn't so much we didn't have a 3rd star, it was more like we didn't have a center... If the Jazz had someone more consistant than Ostertag, I think we win a title. But that could be the Jazz-blue goggles talking... I just hope Boozer can get his defense down and then we'll have a really good chance. Until then though, we've still got a way to go...

  • You're not suggesting that Hornacek and Brian Russell were superstars? If anything, they were fantastic role players...To win titles you need at least 3 superstars ( the Shaq, Kobe Lakers are an exception), unfortunately for the Jazz you guys had only Stockton and Malone...

  • No, I don't think Hornacek or Russell were superstars. They were good players and filled roles that needed to be filled for the Jazz, but they weren't superstars. Truth be told, I don't think the Jazz needed a 3rd superstar to win a title. I think that all they needed was another, average big man to compliment Malone and to take some pressure off of him. But like I said, that's just my personal opinion. I could be wrong, if they had another big man, maybe they still wouldn't have won a title.

  • If they had a 3rd superstar we wouldn't be having this debate, that's for sure... And Ostertag was an average big man, as was Mark Eaton, so they obviously needed more than that, didn't they? As I've stated before, one more superstar would have taken them over the hump...

  • Haha, alright. We'll just leave it at that. The Jazz needed one more superstar to get over the hump. I'm willing to accept that.

  • They are not MVPs. MVPs do not need to flop.

  • Wow, you must be Jackie Chan live in Hong Kong and watch the Chinesse verson

  • the 2 greatest players

  • Stockton, to Malone... what else can i say?

i just dont know how nash got MVP, twice! and stockton never did... so unfair!

  • The sad thing is that all these new young "hip hop" NBA fans will never know just how good these 2 were together. All they know is that they didn't win a championship and will base their opinions off of that.

  • I´m waiting for something like that in the basketball those days, Dirk From Brazil

  • These two will definitely put each other in the Hall of Fame. A strong center would have given them a great chance at a championship.....I guess it was just never meant to be.

  • god these guys deserved AT LEAST! ONE championship!!!

  • deron to boozer! deja vu

  • stockton to malone !

  • MY opininion is that john stockton is the most underated player ever.

  • I think Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the most underrated player ever.

  • The only man I want to see in short-shorts ever is Stock.

  • this clip was from the dream team video, i've watched it for as long as i can remember... thanks for the upload :) --stockton and malone were a better duo because of the way they complimented each other

  • I have this video in VHS tape, But this video is not 100% complete. I have upload the only part I´ve got. I think the complete video has more than 5 minutes. Anyone have the full video?

  • no...that's it for stockton and malone..but there's also ewing, david robinson, chris mullin, pippen, jordan, magic, and others...and he's right..this is the dream team video..does anyone have the whole thing?

  • Pippen was a joke.

  • the best one-two punch in nba history was MJ-Pippen though stockton and malone were very good too

  • No it was MJ, no matter who he had with him it's not a duo it's a one man show.

  • MJ wasnt an underated player numnutz

  • Stockton & Malone are the G.D.O.A.T

    Jordan & Pippen are the 2nd G.D.O.A.T

  • John Stockton and Karl Malone are the epitome of a duo.

  • What a shame those two never won a title. They were as fine a duo as has ever been in the NBA.

  • totally agree prob is that they always got weak at the final games

  • plus michael jordan was king...

but malone and stockton were the best duo

  • If it wasn't the Jordan era, they probably would have pulled it off. It would be like Muhammed being born at the same time as Jesus.

  • stokton and malone suck

  • wow! that was an intelligent comment

  • Wow, you must be Jackie Chan live in Hong Kong and watch the Chinesse verson of the CBA(Chinesse Basketball Association).

  • stokton? stokton?
