Nothing to do with Hanoi Rocks and I don't think Hanoi really ever was a typical 80s band. Usually it is called 'glam metal', but Hanois music had nothing to do with heavy metal. It was not a 'metal band' or 'hair-metal' or whatever... Simply pure rock n roll, punk and glam. Listen to New York Dolls, Rolling Stones or Dead Boys... that's what it is all about.
