  • I LOVE THE WAY HE DANCE

  • "the fat woman had the last laugh"

  • My sister in law resembells this song so much, its her ringtone now...ewok

  • tranquilo pero buen temazooooooooo

  • I remember when this aired, I was in elementary school...where has time gone?

  • The fat woman in this video is today's average American.

  • SHHHWEEET!

  • The most popular are not necessarily the best !!!

  • Go Joe...!

  • This is bullshit. I knew Joe Tex. His wife was a big fat woman, and I saw him bump with her.

  • I saw this on WNEW-TV Metromedia(channel 5) in NYC when I was 5 going on 6. That was some funny shit to see Joe get knocked down over and over again.

  • @fullyfunked ...Interesting background youve given. Greaat to see someone like Joe Tex, a great singer with his tongue firmly in his cheek, sending himself up. In the vein of the great and underrated Betty Wright and Millie Jackson.

  • He didn't feel like gettn down with a BIG FAT WOMAN, but he sure was gettn down on that SOUL TRAIN STAGE.....the ending was cute....LOVE IT...

  • Check the dude at the front with the red shirt and the afro. That guy's got some moves.

  • You can tell he had some fun with this song! I love the way he's dancing in this one!

  • Haha,..I love his slik moves à la James Brown and high heel shoes! :-) You don't knock me down once, Snatch me out of my seat! Haha...I love it!

  • This is the worst lip synching of all time

  • Joe Text was quite the character!

  • i was slammed into a wall once by a big booty woman...roflamo

  • This take me back to 1976. What time!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lovely song...lovely dance...16 i was....good memories..thanks..!!

  • Bring,s back the memories, Happy Day,s.

  • He is politically incorrect!!!!!!

  • I was 5yrs old when this song was out. I don't remember, but my Mom says that I asked a neighbor who happened to be fat if she was the women the man was referring to in the song. The lady was nice and thought is was hilarious....kids say the darnest things, lol

  • @PaulaDDS Maybe if that Mama of yours would have beat that lil' ass of yours then you would have remembered that you had no manners or any respect for your elders.

  • I loved @PaulaDDS's comment. Questions of this nature from a 5yr old shows signs of intelligence, not signs of being disrespectful.

  • @MaxMikeLatino Well, apparently your Mama beat yours and you don't have a lick of respect. So what's your excuse? I won't blame your Mama, though, who is my elder. I'll just put the blame right where it belongs: on you.

  • Memory: Bar-B-Ques & Picnics at my uncle's house ( dad's brother).

  • i remember this as if it was yesterday i just loved this track in1976 in the club i was 16 great doing the bump

  • @MrTriumph2 1977 my mistake i was 17

  • That was too much fun! Too bad they don't make music like this anymore! What I wouldn't give to go back to the seventies, If I had been more aware of music, and the type of music that was to come, I would have appreciated this so much more

  • I danced with my vice principal to this song in 7th grade; she was a big fat woman.

  • ah the good old days before the political brigade got into power when we could all

say it as we saw it! when free speech was free speech!!! n this was a great tune from my youth! if the fatties dont like it let em diet!!

  • joe is cool as fuck man......move that infobar i wanna see joe dancing man shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit! :)

  • tune out this dudes voice... replace with 'She's a Lady, Whoaooaooo'

  • what a larf

  • He was not only talented, but had a sense of humor in his recordings. Refreshing and fun.

  • It should be interesting looking at this song being danced today, with some of our current overweight or obese women

  • @bee52mitch They have their own club night where they don't have to hear such. Too bad though, we can stop encouraging Obesity like its some sort of "right" to be fat. You can be fat, nobody is really telling you not to be, but its SOCIALLY UNACCEPTABLE and its been proven, over and over and over again. Its the CORRECT OPINION as well.

  • love the end to that 1.lmao

  • luv it oldsckool jam

  • luv it

  • im joked out

  • Ain't Gonna Bump No More (With No Big Fat Woman) - The first time I ever heartd anyone use a TRIPLE negative. How ignorant can you get?

  • @lwmson In Math, a double negative is a positive and a triple negative is still a negative.....I'll bet that neither you nor Joe Tex knew that :)

  • @nihowmache I know that, but we're talking English, not math.

  • @nihowmache you're dumb

  • @Strelac and your mother sucks giraffe dicks.

  • @lwmson really "giraffe dicks" ? nothing better huh? original if nothing else

  • GOOD TIMES WITH MY HUBAND AND GOOD MEMORIES YES LORD.

  • This would not be funny today like it was in 1977 because today being a fat slob is almost normal.

  • this video fantastic!!!!! love the background dancers

  • does anybody know who sings the blues version of this song??

  • i was a little boy

  • Here's that from some sad fucker from, wait for it..St Helens!!! Haha. You're the sad one, I'd top myself if I was from that shithole. Now fuck off and crawl back into your hovel cunto.

  • @wauquelin You think that's funny you cunt? I take it that you are 12 years old and find it a laugh calling other people? Get a life you sad bastard.

  • @sewitt60 Old nigger lover. FU. You're the sad one with no life if this gets to you. Too fucken bad, ain't it?

  • @wauquelin hahaha...whats wrong little boy, hot black chick laugh at your small white dick?

  • @TheFridgechucker Are u the fat nigger sow in the video?

  • @wauquelin You must stop having sex with your sister..it reduces your ability to make snappy comebacks.....unless maybe your 6 years old...

  • @duskejw Your comebacks are really brilliant, too. U must have an IQ of 10.

  • @TheFridgechucker wauguelin isn't a little boy. I looked at the channel and reading a few things on it it looks like wauquen is a 44 year old female piece of shit.

  • @hjb103055 Yeah, I saw that. And apparently a feminist. I've never understood how one person can complain about their gender, race, etc. being oppressed and then shit on another. She's a disgrace to women everywhere.

  • All of the big girls clap your hands!!!!

  • shucks who's ready hell i can wit that... MY WORD!!!!!!

  • Ouch...somebody tell Tex to give Tatoo his suit back....aahh the memories of the 70's

  • I love how he works that mic stand. Impressive! But then I realized how obvious it makes the lip sync at some points you hear him singing and the mic is no where near him.

  • One of the GREATEST SONGS EVER MADE!!!!!!

It has been a dream of mine to own the rights to this song!!!!!

  • Woooooooooooo !!! luving the funk

  • the guy who announced Joe Tex, couldn't help but to chuckle when he said the title of the song..

  • @Griffoendor I know. It's almost he doing a commercial for a luxury car and announces that there's seating for a big fat woman. It really sounds odd.

  • this is the most fun song i have ever listened to Mr. tex was great surely puts a smile on your face the 4 dislikes must be fuddy duddies no humor for sure

  • im 20 this song is funny i like it

  • How come this song isn't relevant today? There's more fat women in America than ever before.. "Don't Bump No Mo With That BBW..."

  • This is a fabulous song- it used to be on the jukebox at Rixys Cafe Americano in Norwich- back in '77. It was the classiest hamburger restaurant around back then and I used to drop a coin in the Wurlitzer just to hear this and all the cool disco sounds. If you like this you'll love The Hustle by Van McCoy.

  • LOL. This song reminds me of black light posters and bead curtains.

  • Listening to this song makes me happy...love 70s music

  • Wonderful !

I used to listened to this song but never saw this performance.

The ending made me laugh !

  • Kewl 70's jam.

  • this is when people actually "danced" to music. now a days, its like having sex on the dance floor. music was much more with a good dance beat. You probably couldnt write music lyrics like that today, women would get pissed, but it is really funny. Whats funnier about the lyrics, its friggin awesome to dance with a big woman today....I say, "bring em on!"

Hip song. Thanks for taking me back down memory lane.

  • Joe T! making me lmao! Tooo Kewl! Love it! Cheers!

  • That's what I'm talking about!!!!!

  • hilarious!

    what a showman joe was....

    RIP

  • This is just as funny as I gottca .... If this song would have came out today fat women would have been protesting...lol

  • "... find yourself a big fat man." LOL priceless.

  • I remember this song, watching it first on American Bandstand in 1975; and then on a Soul Train tribute to him in 1982 after he died. Coincidentally, I was in Kansas City attending a funeral at the time I saw this clip.

  • Takes me right back oooohhh such fun times, those were definitely the days!

  • It ain't over until the fat lady bumps you.

  • I ran a mobile disco from 76-79 and played this all the time....happy Days.

  • Used to do the bump down the nine pins on a friday night 1970's

  • This was MY SHYT when I was a lil girl!!! All us lil kids use to sing this all the time and just crack up laughin while we did the bump!!! The good ol days of youth and innocence :)

  • @Msredhoney720

When I was a shorty and they use to play this---Man. Besides Everybody was Kung-Fu fighting. Youth and innocence --- good ol' music to me. I know the song isn't nice -- politically but listen to it. My feet still patting.

  • Idk why my daddy start me with this, but love it

  • this actually happened at at club, the woman sued becuase of the song, and won

  • The woman who bumped him was FINE! ! ! i'm just sayin'.

  • i most certainly Love to BUMP with a BIG FAT woman!

  • Very entertaining and good old slap stick comedy at the end. Great stufff. I really though that mic stand was gone.

  • He can handle a mic stand..

  • @ Lockemeister yes you're right, but so many songs in any era, sound so much like their most popular counterparts. It's not so much that they were copying, but that the methods used to produce popular music were the same.

And even so, it's still a great song.

Rock Your Baby - George McRae - is also a great song.

(Can't post the link but it's on here)

  • @PiAnt2007 , listen carefully, and the groove and chord progression used in the verses here is te same one used in Rock your Baby - quite common..

  • This sounds a lot like. "Woman, Take me in your arms and rock me baby"

  • Oh, God... THERE SHE IS!!! THE BIG-FAT WOMAN!!! Oh, she was GORGEOUS! This is part of what got me atarted LOVENG BBWS... WONDERFUL POST!!!

  • Fantastic !!!

  • Joe Tex. Nuff said. Who am I kidding, you can't help but not dance when you hear this song. Fat woman, fat man, skinny woman, skinny man or in between. Ya'all can do it!

  • <3 this

  • man that song is good

  • i used to get down to this

  • Cool as hell!

  • Navasota in da house

  • @hangover71 What you say? My people are from Navasota Tx..LOL

  • love this tune ..fantastic :):):):)

  • I was just a kid when that song came out

    but its still funny

  • I saw him and his band on the Merv Griffin show in New York City in 1968 while stationed in the Army there...Can you image being in the Army in New York...the duty was beyond description...Joe put on a show equal to any performance of James Brown...Pitty he died far far too young only age 49! TRULY ONE OF THE GREAT ONES!!!!

  • sweet feet Joe Tex!!!

  • Fat!? In today's Britain, that woman is "curvy."

  • This song is fabulous...love it.

  • jb and joe etx had a big fall out years ago no lost love there

  • sweetzaracat, same here matee.

  • I'm guessing Joe Tex & James Brown had the same choreographer.

  • Didn't need a choreographer...got it naturally from the SOULLLLLLLLLLLLL... yeah!

  • ah yes, the SOULLLLLLLLLLLLL. LOL

so basically what U're saying is that he & James were cut from the same cloth, right?

  • You must be quite young....

  • it depends on how old U R. LOL

    no, seriously, I'm 35.

  • I said that because generally, you don't have to explain anything to folks over 45-ish.

  • oh, okay, it's all good.

  • A singer-songwriter-showman genius. And *not* in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

  • @ensconse

& this song is probably Y.

  • al bundy hates fat women

  • lol..big tune..love bumping dem big fat women...too strong for dem punnie girls man...lol...thick girls rule....

  • Me too! The lady must've had some huge hips to knock down Joe. But the thick women are more fun to get down on the dancefloor.

  • soul music was the death of the british charts in the mid seventies until the punk era, but this song was one of the last great hits that made it good again !!.

  • Thanks, it's so cool to see soul trains many talents. Joe tex was one who had songs to make you laugh. How ever in this time and age...talking about weight to a female just may not turn out the way you think. (LOL)
