Only in Los Angeles! LOL You have to be able to dance street first to fuse it, the Latin scene cracks me up. Hommie with the ridiculous yolked up arms actually has good feet for such a big guy. Theres a reason why street dancers are usually skinny though. You dont see lot of buffed or fat hip hop dancers and poppers.

@ everyone else: This is bachata. It's called performance bachata. You can't do tricks on the dance floor. Just like in salsa, you cant do tricks on the dance floor. There's just no room. If you want to go to a performance and see them do the basics then go watch a class lol Take it from a Dominican and bachata lover/dancer. This is far from Dominican style but still a style of bachata.

Very nice routine! I didn't read all the comments here but about this not being bachata, I have to disagree. This is a choreography so you can't expect people doing a lot of basic steps. Bachata choreographies are quite far from what you actually do on the dance floor. Sure, it's got a lot of spice in it but it doesn't mean it's not bachaa.

I'm a bachata lover myself, have been to many festivals and seen loads of routines on stage. This is one of the better ones I've seen!
