A lot of people use the N-word. While that's clearly wrong I think what was far, far worse was that Dog told Tucker that he couldn't work for him unless he dumped her *because she's black*. It's the difference between using a derogatory word, and flat out discrimination. Being mad at Dog for using the N-word is totally missing the point. A lot of people use the N-word. While that's clearly wrong I think what was far, far worse was that Dog told Tucker that he couldn't work for him unless he dumped her *because she's black*. It's the difference between using a derogatory word, and flat out discrimination. Being mad at Dog for using the N-word is totally missing the point. Also regardless of why Tucker leaked the tape, he deserves respect for standing up for his girlfriend at the expense of his job and relationship with his dad.

The real crime in this whole situation is that, Dog's son..recorded a private conversation, and leaked it to the public..without the consent of the other person (Dog).Though what Dog said is moraly wrong; he has the right to say it for two reasons 1).Freedom of Speech 2).This is not regarded as Hate Speech because it was mant to be a private conversation between two people. Dog's son committed the real crime in this situation because, he invaded Dog's privacy rights.

Also, I believe that if a person is truly offended by a word, they will not use it to refer to themselves or their family and friends. As for Dog's son Tucker, whose mugshots are taken often due to his frequent jail visits, his dad forgave him...and after he gets out of jail this time, maybe they can move past this. Atleast until Tucker gets jailed again for gang activity, drugs, theft, etc. I thought it was illegal to record a telephone conversation without permission...

@risadanielle his son's motives were awful, he sold his dad out for drugs, but that is a completely separate issue. that conversation should not have been made public, i agree there, but it happened, and it did show dog's true colors. he used that word to show his vitriol for the african-american race, he called that girl a "fuckin n***er" and there's no excuses for that. dog didn't make excuses, no one else should either. that word represents centuries of legal, horrible abuse or black people.
