I think that they just stopped supporting this game on live cause not many people play it still. In short, disconnect before playing and you're good.

Games on Demand is a great service, but its marred by tons of shitty games. Its like theyre trying to put up all the crap games that the 360 has first, then they'll start putting up good games. the good thing about games on demand is that it saves u the trouble of getting out of ur couch, opening the disc tray, taking out call of duty 4, putting it back in its case, taking out dead space and putting it on the disc tray and finally closing the disc tray then sit back on ur couch. with games on demand ,u can play any game withot the trouble of switching discs. u can play cod4..after u get ur ass kicked by a 6 year old boy..u can play gta4 and shoot some cops to blow off some steam.
In timesplitters u have a choice of about 1000 different characters to choose from like monkeys, robots , aliens, hot sexy chicks, army guys, ginger bread man, and ever fairy tail character u can emagine including playable zombie characters. U can also create ur map and make ur missions the way u want them and create ur weapons as crazy as a rocket laucher machinegun ect...and crazy game modes with the fastest first person shooter action XD.
Guys theres a really cool game that might come out, it's called timesplitters 4...Iv'e played the first 3 timesplitters for gamecube and ps2, but now they might be releasing it for the 360 and ps3. This is the best kickass action game iv'e ever played. It was awarded best first person shooter, all 3 series...no joke.
Games on demand is a terrible idea. Why the fuck would anyone want to sacrifice so much space on their hard drive downloading games that come on a disc? Thats a lot of damn space to give up just to save a trip to the store. Plus for the same price you can just go out and buy the cd and have the box with the artwork and instruction manuel. For what you don't get they should at least slash the price to a drop dead number. Charging store prices for something like this is just wrong.
I think 'Games on Demand' was meant to compete with what the PSN Store has, which is basically 'Games on Demand'. However Microsoft have done it wrong. Each game takes about 6Gb and unless you have the 120Gb HDD thats alot of space.
Also they overprice every game. Over here in the UK Command & Conquer 3 is £19.99. But you can buy it from Gamestation for £14.99 NEW or £7.99 Pre-Owned, and you get a physical disc and manual with it.

Actually you cant buy Halo 3 ODST on Xbox Live. Cause Microsoft said that new released games ,like Halo 3 ODST, won't be availble to xbox live. Games on Demand titles would be mostly be 20 buck games. I think there will be COD 4 available.
Full feature games CANT be on the PS3 simply because the PS3s tech is too advanced compared to the 360s. Think about it, people complain the a little DVD is taking up a large chunk of their hard drive imagine if it were a bluray. 1 game would take your entire drive. That being said, what hasn't the PS3 done before the 360 that the 360 bragged about having later? I bet if the 360 ever got web browsing xbots would go fanatic despite the wii and PS3 having it way earlier.

yea, you buy it over marketplace and then its permantly on and playable from your hard drive.
But your gonna want a big hard drive lol my 20gb just wont cut it for this kind of content.

although its takes alot of space you could still redownload the game you have deleed. For example ifyou download mass effect and you have finissh the game so you dont play it no more. You can delete it but you can stll download it on games on demand for free cause you have already purchased the item.

Games on Demand is not awsome. The time it takes to download a 6Gb file I could have walked into town, gone to my local game store and purchased the game for half the price. Everything is overpriced!

ya its gunna be great buying games on demand..i can ride my bike to the store, get an MS points for 1600, come home and download Mass Effect...i wanted to get a real version but my mom thinks i spend too much money on games even though ive only spent 100 dollars this year and i have like 5 games (gamestop ftw)...she wont even know i have it...and the cool thing about all of it is if you r running low on space, you can delete it and download again later...gunna be great, and its comin tomorow!

Actually you cant buy Halo 3 ODST on Xbox Live. Cause Microsoft said that new released games ,like Halo 3 ODST, won't be availble to xbox live. Games on Demand titles would be mostly be 20 buck games. I think there will be COD 4 available.

Full feature games CANT be on the PS3 simply because the PS3s tech is too advanced compared to the 360s. Think about it, people complain the a little DVD is taking up a large chunk of their hard drive imagine if it were a bluray. 1 game would take your entire drive. That being said, what hasn't the PS3 done before the 360 that the 360 bragged about having later? I bet if the 360 ever got web browsing xbots would go fanatic despite the wii and PS3 having it way earlier.

and what if your getting rid of your xbox, selling the games and console, oh wait, there all on my harddrive so im going to have to sell the harddrive and convince buyers on ebay that it does have the games on it i say it has.
and theres a number of things that could happen aswell, like people hacking your xbl account, downloading the game to their hdd, voila, free game for them because you cba waiting a day or two for it.
its also going tio absolutely fuck with the game shops.,

mind you i suppose it aint all bad because now people who actually buy the hard copy (like me) wont have to worry as much about new releases being out of stock as most people will of downloaded it anyway.
I just think its microsoft trying to keep xbox live better than psn, if thats the case they should bring out something useful.

They made some awesome choices with the Games and some retarded ones. a new Mass Effect is so hard to find plus it, Bioshock and Oblivion are flat out excellent but Sonic the Hedgehog? If they chose 30 Games to add why in the Holy Shit Cactus did they choose Sonic the Hedgehog!!

Because apparently Sonic '06 made a lot of sales when it was packaged as a family bundle, and because Sonic is an iconic video game character, they slapped it there in the hopes to gain more sale. Yes, sad indeed.
Although there are rumors spreading around saying that the game will get a major tweak and improvements, but I highly doubt it.

Actually, Sonic 06 had a lot of sales that it got Platinum Status. And I think for now, they add Platinum games for the Games on Demand service.
