God I love this car. I would ALMOST trade my favorite muscle car "which I own" for this. And thats a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am. I raced one and we were even. He said he was running 9 pounds of boost. Favorite tuner car right here.

Muscle has a tendency to be more reliable when faster. Tuners have much better handling. Well usually. Fast cars are just fun. Whether its a turbo or all motor its all good to me. I love the sound of a blow off valve. I love the sound of my Magnaflow on my Trans Am. Which I just installed. Its all good ya know. You're absolutely right. Both have ups and downs. Muscle can blow the block just as easily as tuners. With too high a commpression ratio. Its just the same as too much boost.
check this out...my dad bought a 300zx TT froma dealer ship...a year later the motor fucking blew to shit. Come to find out they put TT on an NA and fucked it all up. He sued got a large chunk of money and kept the car. NOW he bought a new block, new turbos, brembo brakes, borla exhaust, suspension, ecu, and more to come! its going to be a great project car...
Fuck the dealership tho for selling a car like that
really nothing except if your going in high speeds it wont brake as well so you will slide because of the weight of the car or the brake disc will heat up resulting in a mean accident..but I would suggest not changing your brakes if you dont race if you are considered a speed freak u should buy some
Oh and HICAS stands for "HIgh Capacity Automotive Suspension" I had a 90' Twin Turbo Z32 Stage 3+ and the Z has been my fav car since I was 9 back in 91'
i own a non-turbo. i cant even imagine what it would be like having 2x turbos. Some day I'll do an engine swap to the TT. I think the only differnce in the 2 models is HICAS (er what ever the all wheel steering is called)
no i dont think you have to swap the zx's engine..Im making another car of mine supercharged and its a lancer03 rally edition and im not changing the engine its a 2.0 soch
Ok good cause I know that in order to get a 300zx with a backseat you can't get the turboed version and I want one with a backseat and twin turbo so I plan to buy a 2+2 model and twin turbo it.
the compression is to high on the non turboed 300zx so you do have to switch out the engine if you want it twin turboed. plus there are alot of other shit you have switch out. the best thing to do is buy a TT front clip from japan. you can get one for like 2500. i myself have a 2+2 and am in the process of getting it TT'ed.
A front clip is just the front of the car. Includes dash,motor, bumpers...you get the idea(just cutting the car in half is basicaly what it is.. Buy a TT front clip and switch the NA motor with the TT motor in the front clip.
