  • what kinda gas mileage do you get with this beast?

  • I'd love to stand on my hands and knees behind that pipe and smell the exhaust!;)

  • That thing is clean as hell underneath, take it you don't live where they use salt and it sounds pretty good.

  • Only you! can prevent forest fires.

  • sounds good.. looks ghetto.. lol

  • I want to do this to my truck you can look at my videos of my truck if you want 1988 7.3 idi and I want to know how much louder is it? is it just as loud as a 7.3 with a turbo?

  • @N4ANE it is a lot smoother sound with the turbo, no rattle and rap like a gasser or the video here. Ill make another wicked vid with the turbo, you can hear the top end scream but its all whistle, the turbo is a good muffler.

  • @TheChiefwhit So its just as loud as having a turbo and no muff right?

  • the sound was to awesome for the microphone to pickup.

    VERY clean sounding IDI man.

  • Just realized this was your video too man! I love this. Badass!

  • check my new vid with the updated exhaust, Its meaner and way nicer. The intake got a modification as well!! Post up fellas. Oh and for the 2 stroke comment, i test it via results of blackstone labs. Get it tested and you will see. Stanadyne pumps can push straight WMO just fine. Trust me, i own one, it does what other can not.

  • sounds lovely!

  • Black smoke comes when you crank up the pump and spit out too much fuel. In a week or so I will post up some new pics of the exhaust with the custom stack.

  • @TheChiefwhit

be careful with 2 stroke oil (Im not sure how u r testing its lubricity!),

anything that makes fuel more viscous risks damaging the pumps on these as u need thin diesel to penetrate between tight fit components to lube them, this is why veg oil often kills pumps also. bosch ones r ok, but stanadyne, rotodiesel/lucas etc r not.

  • do you get any black smoke out of that non turbo

  • @400exblack2007 you can get more so out of the non turbo version than the turbo version. Both are capable of delivering the same amount of fuel (same pumps and injectors), but the turbo puts more air in the cylinder to even out the mixture....where the non turbo is just pulling air in, not balancing out the mixture. My truck ROLLS COAL ....same motor.

  • nice fuckin sound, love them trucks

  • So loud the camera keeps craping out! lol

  • can you PLEASE get a driving video (preferably from the outside..) of this set-up, I have a n/a IDI as well I want to do this to mine....but it always sound different while driving versus just sitting there. Thanks!
