the A.I in this game was great somtimes, though one of ypur squads tend to stay somewhere and not follow you at all

Nope, its an elite group of commando's . .. Delta Squad, they need to sound different to know who's talking and besides i think it's better they made them all sound different, i'd be annoyed if they all sounded the same
