That was beautiful! I have been debating about getting one for one of my daughters to play.  She already knows violin, mandolin, and a little bit of guitar and she wants to learn as many stringed instruments as possible. So far, mandolin is her favorite. Do you think that a dulcimer would be difficult for her to learn?

@bugisami haha, they're not random. They're set up Diatonic. Now adays you can get them in several different fret set ups including chromatic, but if they were spaced randomly it would sound like garbage and be virtually unplayable.

Check out "Lady Jane" by the Rolling Stones. Brian Jones plays a dulcimer. Not as good as this guy though. Great Job. Try wearing some other colors than black, it makes you look like your about to snap.

This is not a fake. The fingers are right on time with the music and in the right place. The cam prolly couldn't catch the strings moving anyways. The talent is astounding, there's a lot of finesse that may be taken for granted, the pauses, mutes, 2 handed pickin. Awesome.

Nice job Dulcimer champ. After hearing that flowing rhythm behind the strumming the Dulcimer reminded me of the East Indian Sitar, which proves we are all one family.
