  • This is my mom. She's clever. And gay. Brilliant political satire.

  • That was awesome! Well played, well played.

  • I guarantee that this is not a joke; we have major politicians in the Senate that hold similar views, always claiming that the constitution was ordained by god (they fail to realize that the constitution grants people freedom of religion, and never mentions that homosexuality is a crime.) These nut jobs claim they love homosexuals; excuse me, but what kind of love rationalizes the kicking citizens out of a state due to life style, which harms no one? none, exactly!!! this is no joke people.

  • @pkart7

This is a joke. Go to the site she references which clearly states that it's a joke in their REAL MISSION STATEMENT:

"The goal of this political satire was purely a play off of the many groups, legislators, organizations and religions who speak against the LGBT community."

And it is beautifully delivered. I'm terribly impressed with her delivery and that she kept a straight face throughout.

  • Not to incur Godwin's Law, but the two guys in the forefront look like skinheads. Seriously, the kid to the right of the lady looks like that kid from American History X.

Also, while we're on the subject, fuck Utah. I feel far more comfortable around a gay guy or a lesbian than a Mormon.

The Church of Latter Day Saints makes Catholic abuse scandals look like nothing.

  • 3:45 "We just don't want them to cram their members down our throats"

    That was inspired. :o)

  • It's all satirical. A lot of Utahn's veil their bigotry under a pretense of 'love'. She says openly what so many people here believe and hide from themselves. This was made in the hopes that people who marginally believe this will be shocked into actually thinking about their opinions. Conservatives are in fact not at all threatened by LGBTQs, they are a afraid of them because they're different so they discriminate against them under a pretense of false morality. She wants us to think!

  • I know the lady in the video, and I can promise this is a joke.

  • oh if only this were a joke.

  • isn't it?

  • @raphi72

I hate to say this but no its not a joke:(

  • @Starhii Apparently, this time - it is a joke: tinyurl (dot) com (slash) ycfc6lx

  • Great speech. I couldn't agree with this lady more. The Federal Government has become an anti-Constitutional tyranny and a cesspool of wickedness.

  • This is so typical of SLC and this place makes me f**king ill. I can't wait for the day I graduate and get the hell out of this insanity. Keep up the good work. Mockery is one way to show them just how pathetic their views really are.

  • Despite the fact that it's satire, she's captured the typical Christian victim mentality perfectly... "Oh...poor us... we're so victimized and put upon." Crawl down off the cross, honey, someone needs the wood!

  • The faggots should leave Utah - so they won't be there when we launch the nukes.

  • It should be very useful to the legal argument you are making if you would cite the US Government's *existing* program to remove the gays. The federal government already routinely (and quietly) forces gay Americans with same-sex partners from other countries to leave the United States in order to be with their partners. Tens of thousands of gay Americans have been relocated under this plan, which receives little to no attention. You are on your way!!

  • "We just dont want them to cram their members down our throats."

    Ahahahaha XD Genius.

  • These people don't look like Mormons. They look like aliens from the series "V."

  • I am gonna do everything I can to help these fine Christians get the homos out of Utah!

  • I love you already, Billybob. Thanks for posting this on your site :3

  • This is hysterical!!! Great satire. It's sad to know, some people

    would cheer her on.

  • Dplum517 - not all Mormons live in a bubble. This lady in no way speaks for me and if this ever did pass I would be on the first train to San Fran with all the gays!

  • I find this entire thing hard to believe. Though I don't doubt the capabilities of the anti-gay forces (case in point, Prop 8), I don't believe it will pass and if it did, either the State or Federal Supreme Court would strike it down just like Romer v. Evans.

  • somehow i find this hard to believe.. meaning.. somehow i am not sure this is real.. even if it is.. no one i know (even practicing mormons) would support anything like this..

  • I guess dplum517 shouldn't sling the C word around so easily either

  • That's amazing. How'd they do that with a straight face?

I don't think the protesters are in on it though.

  • THIS IS HILARIOUS! great trolling :P

  • Ever hear of Political Theatre? Look up the Utah Fair Solutions website and look at their REAL MISSION - - brilliant!

  • @1timtamslam Have you heard of something called Poe's Law? I wouldn't go around slinging "dumbass" so easily.

  • She's great, next season on SNL, what her name. Time, the pursed lips, the self rightoues indignation... The son could have done something funnier. Interact with the queer pissed guy.

  • Definitely. Because the son looks just like your typical closeted, repressed gay Mormon kid, teen or twentysomethng.

  • If there was a word to describe this lady it would be CUNT. Mormons live in a bubble and are too ignorant to see outside of their bubble.

  • I just can't reconcile this with reality. This has to be a joke.
