There are times like these when I wonder if, like in the first seasons with Reid to Gideon, Garcia might see Hotch as a father figure. She seems to try really hard not to disappoint him in particular.
I love Morgan and Garcia together but I feel that Thomas Gibson is the best actor of the group - no contest. You just get the feeling that this is a man of stature, and integrity and that being a leader is a natural outcome of who he is. He leads with solid strength but not without being a caring listener and recognizing the unique qualities of each individual team member. This scene demonstrates just that.
That was beautiful, Hotch is pretty sensitive. I mean....he is tough and makes murders cry but he also notices little things in others that makes them unique, he usually never judges, which makes him such a great character. I remember an episode when Garcia got shot and Rossi brought up the fact that she bring attention to herself I'm the way she dresses, and Hotch just said "what do you mean"?
I just love Hotch. I agree with the previos comment that everyone needs a Hotch in their lives.
I love the Hotch/Garcia scenes because they are almost polor opposites and they are adorable when they interact. I'm also glad they didn't bring anyone in to replace JJ. Thanks for uploading!
@BluEbeRRi304 I think part of what makes the interaction between these to is the polar oppositness shes so very outrageous and out there and he's so staid and serious (with such an unepected dry wit)

When she offerred to tone down her wardrobe you could tell in his eyes that he saw the sacrifices she was willing to make for her job.
