@mudithead search youtube and google for 3d mapping, plenty of good stuff to learn, best thing to do is point your projector to an object to get the idea of how projector light works over objects.
hi incuf. this is awesome. may ask what is paint module cos im not familiar with it. is it like adobe photoshop? hoping for your reply. thanks very much!
@trampedak you have to prepare the footage to be in a circle. you can use after effects, or you can add a black layer above the one with the video with a "hole" in the middle
I draw them using the paint Module. Then render a movie of it, exported a frame from the movie. In After Effects I animated it with masks, and rendered out as a quicktime. Then imported the qt into modul8 again. cheers
go to the Filter modue (Layer) and look for Perspective transform. using this module you move the corners of each layer to match the corners/shape of your real world object.
Hi, what type of projector did you use for the this 3D Mapping? How do you the get rid off the luminosity of the light produced from the projector on the background? Although we use the Perspective transform, we still end up with a rectangle of luminosity (not visuals) produced by the projector outside the Mapped objects.
what kind of projector did you use??
