  • Hi!! I love it!! how can I get started in this? Do you know if there are courses or can I learn how to do it from the internet? thank you very much.

  • @tuamigamoni Hi, did you get an answer? Well , i am also a beginner :)

Any online tutorials/dvd about this? Recently started max/msp but this whole projector thing is awesome.

Let me know if you did find something we can learn from. cheers

  • @mudithead search youtube and google for 3d mapping, plenty of good stuff to learn, best thing to do is point your projector to an object to get the idea of how projector light works over objects.

  • @mudithead let me know if you need any help, cheers

  • @mudithead check out maddmaper at com, great soft for doing this the easy way, you can also do it with modul8 or resolume

  • @tuamigamoni search youtube and google for 3d mapping tutorial, plenty of material

  • how did u get such a dark(black) background, is it just black colored background in animation? or special projector settings?

  • @sensiville shapes where done with perspective transform on Modul8. everything else was black. lights out

  • fking amazing

    congratulations!

  • @jeep22r thanks

  • hi incuf. this is awesome. may ask what is paint module cos im not familiar with it. is it like adobe photoshop? hoping for your reply. thanks very much!

  • @dyemzone it's a module where you can draw lines and shapes. is more like "paint" on wndows. But it does the job

  • is there any tutorial to do this?

  • @sharethehouse search youtube, there are many

  • how did you render a movie a movie of what you drew on with the paint module?

  • @alhef with the output recorder within modul8,

  • can some one of you tell how to map on a round opject ?

  • @trampedak you have to prepare the footage to be in a circle. you can use after effects, or you can add a black layer above the one with the video with a "hole" in the middle

  • wow,,great!

  • looks amazing!!

    I have some questions.

    what is your projector setup?

and what kind of projector did you use?

  • Comment removed

  • how did you do the outline effect?

  • I draw them using the paint Module. Then render a movie of it, exported a frame from the movie. In After Effects I animated it with masks, and rendered out as a quicktime. Then imported the qt into modul8 again. cheers

  • how is the procces to do this mpaiing with modul?

Im working actually on it, but i can not figure out how you did it with the image of the cube, triangle, etc...to make them look like 3D.

  • go to the Filter modue (Layer) and look for Perspective transform. using this module you move the corners of each layer to match the corners/shape of your real world object.

  • to map a layer with Perspective transform are no problem! but how i can make this "outline" effect? with the lightflow..??

  • @jezstevens23 know you can use Madmapper for a much easier mapping.

  • truly art. Did you make the beat too?

  • yes, with LIVE.

  • superb

  • thnx

  • :) .

  • lovely

  • What an amazing work, can you work whit a dj to?

    do you use special projector?

  • yes, I ussually work with dj's. I used a regular projector & Modul8
