Nemesea is connected to After Forever. Similar or not, it's the same metal soup, the same pattern. Which is neither original nor groundbreaking.

Evanescence is not Gothic Metal. Ask me and I would say they're not Gothic Rock either. To back myself up, they don't sound neither like Theatre of Tragedy, nor like The Sisters of Mercy.

Evanescence? It's Skillet with female vocals. Amy Lee just wanted to make some noise and started the Christian Rock issue. :)
