Can you tell me where you read your history? Babak was Azari not turk I refer you to Kasravi Book "Azari Ya Zaban bastan Azarbaijan". Nadershah was Turkish, Shah Ismail also spoke Turkish but his grandfather Sheikh safi spoke Tati which is dialect of farsi. We are now so advanced that we can trace back where people actually came from by looking at their DNA. The fact is, The Azeris are from an Iranic/Medes tribe. They speak a Turkic language (and of course Parsi) but they are Iranian. Did you know almost half of Tehran is Azeri. The leader, Khamenei is Azeri. Do you really think all these people identify themselves as Turkish? NO! They identify themselves as Iranians!!

Azerbaijani people are Iranian. That part of Iran was once occupied by Ottomoan Turks. That's why they speak a Turkic language. But they are from the Medes and Iranic tribes which are both Iranian.

You guys always like to stick to the issue of language. Are the Senegalese (country in Africa) actually French just because they speak French and were colonized by France? No. The issue isn't language. Btw, Azeris speak Parsi just as well as they speak Azeri. The issue here is the DNA of the Azerbaijani people is Iranian. They come from the Iranic tribe. They originate from Media and are Medes. Don't take my word for it. Read the history.

Actually "Azari" is correct. Most people think it's the persian pronounciation but it's correct. It's the original pronounciation from the written farsi/arabic alphabet. That's the Iranian azeri turkish alphabet. You can say 'azeri' too, it's not that much difference.

If you consider that foreign intervention or help in any country is justified to help people against a govt (supposing it would be true), then it has to be applied on all cases.
And I keep on my words, if a foreign country eyes Iran territory, it must be dealt with severly. With all means possible.

I agree that any country has a right to protect itself. But if Iran's current foreign policies earned it manny enemies. Though I doubt that there is goign to be invasion of Iran soon, btu any such act is goign to target the regime and not the territory. though inevidably people will suffer in the short term.
