Thats cool, but take care of your lower back. A strong lower back is imperative. And be aware of the compression that your spine suffers when doing side leg lifts, wich can increase lordosis of the spine.
do stretches like forward bends and pelvic tilts to masssage your back, preventing injuries, and increase the amount of space between the vertebrae. But i´m sure you already know this stuff. Good luck
