From the way she talks, I know that she is not nearly as brilliant as she tries to be.

She was an "applied" math major. She coauthored a paper like any other math major with a 3.5 GPA (actually most math majors publish independent papers). She was the usual math major.

But her trying to get school girls into math will eventually result in the "watered-down" math major, which will prove to be hostile to American science. This is what they did for the public school system.

It is a little awkward to see the manners of a TV star in a mathematician. Mathematicians usually do not talk about themselves so much.
