  • How much did it cost and where did you buy it??

  • you can get them from amazon for only 20 bucks.

  • アンタのも赤いところ光沢ないね。

    どんまい

  • Wavemaster MOBI is way better

  • I own two of them. Not as loud as you would expect from the actor. "too loud to turn on at his place?" the buddy system seems to work, but does not create twice the volume

  • are these speakers loud enough for me to listen to in the shower?

  • @VietnessIsFitness They should be, especially since your shower is small, and has hard walls, so the acoustics in your shower should also help.

  • Is it better than the Tattu Hamburger?

  • @TheWorld961 Most certainly. The Hamburger is a pirated version of the X-mini. They only have the design, but not the acoustics of the X-Minis.

  • bro, does challenger sells the x-mini max 2?

  • @HavenSpawn Yes they do. They're all over Challenger (i.e. there's no fixed shelf), from the laptop corner to the Apple corner

  • mono since there's only one device

it will be stereo if u use (at least) 2 speakers(with the stereo cable)

  • is it mono or stereo ?

  • and which is best in this all this x minis ?

  • is it mono or stereo ?

  • I just ordered one today, and I'm wondering; does it use up power when it's turned ON but does not play any sound? Because and want to use it with the "Sleep Cycle" app. Thanks.

  • ah... no sampling of the sound quality... what's so amazing in unboxing it compared to unboxing christmas presents a couple of weeks ago @@

  • Our unboxing videos are sneak peaks for the proper review. You can watch our full review online. Search for "Gear65 #18" on youtube.

  • how much is it ? and whr to buy?

  • You can find it in Funan the IT mall easily at SGD49.90 or if you go to Challenger and you're a Challenger member you can get it at SGD45.

  • Okay Ill do that thanks for quick reply :)

  • No prob. :) Merry Christmas!

  • Im referring to the black ring around the red part of the speakers

  • I don't have the units with me to compare whether the newer ones have a different material for the black ring, but I do know that XM-I has changed some of the materials for the speaker.

Try contacting them at x-mini [.] com (they have a contact page) or visit Challenger and compare with the units they sell there.

If the sound still sounds the same it should be genuine, since the thing pirates have trouble duplicating thus far is their sound quality.

  • Referring to my previous post the 2 that I bought looks exactly the same with the same box and everything no problems in the sound quality as well however I'd like to know why the difference in material?

  • I do know that XM-I now has a newer X-Mini 2 with a glossy shiny speaker rather than the matte one. Are you refering to the red part of the speaker?

  • I got the same one for christmas from challenger. I decided to buy 2 more after that. However the 2 I bought were not from challenger but rather from a person who was selling them online. I noticed a difference between the 2 I bought and the one from challenger. The material around the speaker plate seemed different. The 2 that I bought were sort of rubbery while the one of challenger was kind of smooth and cloth like and looks like the on in this video. Could the 2 I bought be fake?

  • I got that for christmas and it's really good :)

  • I got one x-mini ii and the cone have a metallic purplish red colour on it

Is it the same type of x-mini ii?

because it's from the same company and same packaging

  • Yes it is. It's a new packaging that I've noticed in shops myself too.

  • Is this one better than the X-mini™ MAX??

  • Yep certainly.

  • It sounds a lot better, but it's only mono. You can check out our Gear65 episode on the X-mini Max 2, which is the new X-mini Max.

  • Yeah, but the thing is that my local shop doesn't carry the X-mini Max II.

So What Would you say? ONE Mini 2 or the X-mini™ MAX?

    Thanks For The Help!

  • If you like the music experience of stereo, you should go with the Max. The Mini 2 sounds better, but it's still not stereo, unless you buy 2 mini 2s, and find a cable that will split a signal to left and right.

  • it comes with a POUCH, thats awsome. way more conveinent. nice review also, you actually showed the volume control

  • would it sound louder than my se k770 coz i wanna buy it for my phone!!!

  • I don't know how loud is your phone is, but the X-Mini is very very loud, and there hasn't been any mobile phone that's been louder than this.

  • Guys you have to see it to believe. Its VERY loud, not fake! If you listen it i am sure you want to buy it

  • what is the effect?

  • 25 euros at shop 18 at web greece

  • you want to look at our new product the ipump mini speaker look at my videos

  • 17.99€ in the german amazon shop

    quite cheap

  • its 25 euro over here (netherlands)

  • how much was it?

  • It's S$49.90

  • Damn $49????

  • That's 49 Singapore Dollars.

  • This gadgets untimely cost me quite a lot of money. Wicked little thing. I was about to buy a 2.1 channel speaker system with subwooper until I discover this X-mini 2.

It's worth it. tiny, portable, no need for long power cable into AC outlet, but still, I get the value of a 2.1 speaker system. It's really loud and full of bass. Bouncing at high volume

  • were can i buy that?

  • nice review! I first saw soldier knows best's review so I decided to go get one! Arriving soon hopefully!

  • Have you seen ours? :P Search for Gear65 #18

  • Yeah, I did see it! Great review!

  • @flexibull did u go onto the site where solder got his from....havent got mine yet

  • Forget the rest these speakers are the BEST !!!

I use them with my laptop and now with my Iphone, and I have to hide them from my teenagers....now they have bought their own set...Im now road testing the Max 11 X Mini, amazing.....

  • saw a few other reviews but wasn't convined until i saw yours... ordered two cos i travel a lot for work...

got some good heafphones but it got uncomfortable.after a while

    cant wait

  • my fren designed it^^ really

  • hae man great review, i love you

  • 50 speakers? wow, thats good, i wonder is any volume is lost down the way on the chain i wonder. 50 speakers in the UK here would cost £1000 :D

  • No volume was lost, which was their purpose of the 50 speakers test. They mentioned that the electronics actually prevent the signal from degrading too much as it goes down the line.

Yea... Haha... But can you imagine if you had 50 friends each with a speaker and you guys came down for a party?

  • I know wow!! I just purchased my second speaker and its mind blowing!! I have a few friends seriously considering getting them, fingers crossed!!

  • so which one should i get....

the x-mini II or the x-mini max?

  • I heard they might actually be making an X-Mini Max II soon! Then you get best of both worlds!

  • can the X-Mini II connect to the X-Mini Max as well?

  • Yea I'm really confused which one to get as well =/

  • Mail to what? I'm dutch my friend so i didn't hear that very well if you'd wanna place it in a respond I'd thank you ;) Nice vid btw but i do have some questions... can ask em in mail if you post it here :)
