It is the furthest thing from a ripoff, the AMG version of this car is GOLD. The non AMGs arnt so good though.

Geschlossen hört man halt den Lader besser =) Offen kommt er an nen V8 Vantage ran was das Hämmern angeht. Ist auf jeden Fall ne tolle Sache die verstellbaren Klappen! Um 3 nachts aus dem Haus, die Klappen zu um die Nachbarn nicht zu wecken und dann oben offen über die Landstraße mit offenen Klappen =)

Das geht mittlerweile per Knopfdruck...gibt es zum Nachrüsten von diversen Herstellern...AMG macht es aber glaube ich auch...es gibt ein Video hier von nem Lambo...da drehst Du durch wenn der Typ da Ding aufmacht. Suche nach Lambo Murcielage open exhaust. Habe den Namen des Herstellers vergessen.

It does. This is a 5.5 liter V8 engine with a supercharger, but in the SLR model it was tuned by McLaren so it produces the massive 626 hp or 650 hp in the 722 version. Basically McLaren out-tuned the AMG engine.

yes it is! in the mufflers are valves. some stock cars (the corvette for example)

have them which open at full speed.

and you can buy custom exhausts (like this) where you can open and close the valves per remote control. so you can decide if you want a decent sound (neighbour-friendly) or a loud racing sound. i tried as good as it was possible to explain it to you in english :D
