Hi Grimbo: Great job with your yew bow. I especially liked it when you almost shot me with your arrow. Lucky i moved. Your bow has good power and nice release. Take care, always your friend-Sarah of Pioneer Living
Very well crafted Grimbo. Knots left intact, from the video & they are deceiving it appears you could pick up a few feet per second by narrowing tips a bit. A little thicker & narrower for last 7-8" just lightens tips a bit is all. Don't bother now maybe next one. This is a great survival bow for any country & most animals. Chronograph it & let me know if you get a chance? Also set & before stringing & after?
you kinda of scared me for a sec when you where aiming at the camera. for a second i thought 1. Im gonna get shot. and 2. What the HELL are you doing! lol nice video.
grimbo i need an honest opinion i have this 1/2 inch yew board ibought online and i want to make a 48 inch shortbow from it. do you think that it will be too short and too thick?
Awesome, that is exactly what I was hoping for, you shooting toward the camera at 2:21. How far away were you from it? Thanks for the upload.
