Amazing show! So disheartened that it was cancelled a year ago. COLD CASE was actually more realistic than Law and Order and never once did it recycle an old story concept from another episode.

COLD CASE is one of my favourite tv shows. I never miss the double bills on Universal if I can help it. But what I don't understand is this - it is always stated at the beginning of an episode that the story is entirely fictional, the characters do not exsist.... but I recognise most of the plots from real life murder movies on True Entertainment, or documentaries on the Crime Channels. How do they get away with it>

I find the song hauntingly beautiful, especially the forlorn flute notes right at the end.

I find it interesting that the detectives on the show sometimes have more drama in their lives than the people they are investigating - ex-wives/girlfriends/boyfriend­s, alcoholic parents, wayward siblings...makes me feel sorry for them.

You have to understand that people with extreme problems themselves are the people that end up with jobs where they help others with similar problems (or at least equally high).

The song is by E.S. Posthumus, and they make great songs. Especially their album "unearthed" is full of songs just as good. Check out Ebla for example.
