ah Mao when i played disgaea 3 i thought it was better then disgaea 2 which it is i love and i'm obsessed with disgaea 3 weird, no? i like all the characters in disgaea 3 too!

it unlocks when you reach a part of axel mode

@OmegaPrismZ can I just use the code for axel mode...will it still unlock? my characters are all level 100++ yet i dont have any magichange. coz ive been training them to level up hoping to get magichange hahahahaa I didnt know u need to go thru axel mode

If you use the code you'll have access to magichange almost straight away but that also means starting over from scratch, all the the characters gained and work put into your current file will not carry over. Its better to just finish the storyline in adell mode and then switch to axel mode when it gives you the option after the end credits, since that way you can keep your character levels and equipment.

Actually, the only characters that don't carry over are the story characters from Axel's story. The minor, or rather, the custom characters, can be carried over, along with any items in storage. Only real problem is that Axel's mode can be a bit of a pain in the neck to complete, so have a good strategy and expect to grind in the item world alot.

Totally worth it for the ability to Magichange, though.

After carefully rereading both his and your posts, I realize I goofed up. Yeah, your suggestion to him is right. I was under the assumption he was starting out fresh, and somehow didn't catch the part that his characters were over 100. My mistake.

Still, if you're starting out fresh, and want Magichange pretty much instantly (and don't mind a lot of grinding), go with Axel mode.

No problem, an easy mistake to make with this youtube layout. If I was ever to start this game over again I'd start with Axel mode, last time I forgot how very long Adell mode was so it took forever to get magichange..

nope, but you probably need to have unlocked the normal magichange by playing Axel mode first though

champloo clear adell mode and axel mode and have 50 hours of gameplay then pass his bill and fight him(level 500) raspberyl unlock champloo then clear 30 dark world stages and pass her bill to fight her(level 1500) mao unlock raspberyl champloo and land of carnage then pass his bill to fight him(level 3200)beating each of them unlocks them as playable characters

hehe i t took me 100 gameplay hours to unlock ALL 3 of them....because i couldnt find all the pirate maps :)...good luck in your next videos and i hope you will put up as many as you can.RaiceaAndrei11

btw the map i upgraded adell to level 1000 is alche city 2nd map...i think it was 8-2 but anyway i know it was the 2nd map of alche city(dun know the name since i play jap version) but you need alot of patience...then i went on to cave of ordeal 4 but you know that since you beat baal in disgaea 2 ps2

Once you unlock it in Axel's mode it should carry over into Adell's on the next cycle
