@MeBenHalpin Hello, Ben. The school system in the U.S. works in a number system (Grades K through 12). "Kindergaten" is one's first traditional year of schooling (@ age 5). Grades 9 through 12 are the high school years, & are termed accordingly (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior). A freshman is 14 years of age, & a senior is 17 years of age upon entering the school year. Hope this helps!
