nice rush but u did it completly wrong

1. build temple

2. build factory

3. build 3-4 warehouses and search for resources

4. train 4-6 wraiths

5. attack took me 5 minutes for 6 wraiths took u like 5 minutes for 3

@LetoHomoHominis ??? iv already used my method of this online i won 3 games out of 4 i fought the same guy twice and he knew it was me but i didnt know it was him so he instatnly made about 5-10 cobras and the battle went on for about a hour he won by i had 2 scarabs and he had about 20 cobras and he cryo bombed both my scarabs and destroyed em both and i lost :(

what i do is buy three wharehouses then upgrade them, them upgrade to heavy shield then upgrade my leader, then lock my base, then put the global rally point on the teleporter, then make like 5 or 7 warith and like 5 choppers upgraded once, then go attack, while attacking upgrade them , it works most the time

You need more skill to perform a rush for example:

Need to decide whether your army is big enough.

If enemy has a defence, pull back or not?

Must be quick and keep concentration.

And much more.

i do this on 3 v 3 skirmish.

If you build all the wraiths while you're attacking the first guy, you can upgrade them while you attack the second and third guys on your team.

i dont ush. it revals your stragedy. say your were covenant and planing a banshee rush. an warthog scout comes in and the player sees the amount of banshees. he would then make many anti-air vehicals and hornets and vulters. FAIL

no, thats why you lock your base until your ready to charge in, and if you get to him first, its over for him and everybody knows if the attack doesnt work, dont build the same units, i wouldnt fail but you, maybe.

do you have halo wars? if that sounded like an insult, i didnt mean it to. in halo wars, it takes a SHITLOAD of time to create a strong(and by strong, a useful) army, and the only army that is possible to have and would be useful is a covie leader.

Yes, I do. I have a 35 TS in 1v1. The point of a rush is not to go in with a 40/40 or 50/50 army. It's to go in (in terms of Wraith rush) with one or two Wraiths and then port more in as you go. I can go into a base at 2:50 with 2 Wraiths, and just keep beaming them in.

You use the same build order as I do, except I upgrade to citadel, I think you could have scouted a bit, well against heroic it really doesn't matter but against real people it does matter a lot.

thats not completly true.the covonent has some stronger guys. for example. u can only get 2 scarabs but just 1 would have to take an army as powerful as a full army of vultures just to get the scarab down to 1/4 left of health.

because if youre being attacked, the attacker will try and destroy the temple first and without it you cant train more units

That's never happened to me - if an enemy attacks me, they always go for shield generators, then the central base - ignoring the rest.

The reason to go for the sides is because it weakens the main base more, thus making it easier to destroy. As for the SG, that's because if you're using weaker units in a rush (Marines for example) the shields will recharge after a few minutes unless you keep a constant flow of damage.

I used this strategy in a boom/turtle style. I upgraded the wraiths after producing them and destroyed their army then asaulted their base while they were weak.

Me and someone friends have been doing 3 vs 3 and we can't seem to have a good rush. It would be cool to see a 3 vs 3 rush. We had a very good one going me as Cutter with one elephant folllowing all of the rest OSDT troops other friend as Anders with all UNSC Hawks and the last guy as Forge with all UNSC Grizzy Tanks. We were ripping thought them but one of mine friends lagged out and we lost. =( But yea it would be cool if you can make a 3 vs 3 that would be cool. btw "I Want A Waffle" is mine

blood gulch was on halo 1, coagulation was on halo 2, and valhalla on halo 3. they are all similar.

yeah but coagulation was just some minor changes made to blood gulch, like new bases and different textures. Valhalla, however, was a completely different map that retained the idea of two bases on opposite sides of a canyon.
