Good flier until the motors burn out, and they burn out too easily and to quickly. Good luck finding decent replacement motors. Looks pretty on the display shelf when you can no longer fly it

@GRUNTEX100660 you must work for eflite. these motors are VERY common ...even the brushless version. don't be so ignorant. eflite has copied walkera for years. eflite is 3x the price of walkera and 1/3 the value.

These choppers need fine tuning. Adjusting the swashplate for level, and gyro gain. It's not like those plastic $30 toys, which fly perfectly initially, but will wear out quickly and have no means of adjustment.

i've got this one in 72Mhz and with plastic swashplate and everything, i learned flying helicopters with this one :) it flys realy easy, if you never flew 3 or 4 ch you will learn it in 2 or 3 days with this one!!

Well, now I know not to trust these reviews anymore. Too bad. I rather enjoyed them. As others have said, serious TBE (toilet bowl effect), going round and round uncontrollably. I can't believe he said the flight characteristics are "pretty good"! He really did well not to crash the thing. My 2 Lama2's hover perfectly with no input for 6 or 8 seconds. Glad I didn't get a 5G6, but it can be hit and miss with these types of things. Maybe he just got a bad one, but he shouldn't say it's pretty good

@SteebunRoba I love my Lama 2 also. I got about 4 of these Lama 2 helis. Destroyed two but still flying two of them. They got me hooked on the hobby. I had TBE on some of them out of the box. But the TBE can be reduced alot by playing around with the flybar linkage length or just getting a different flybar. Its probably the same for this 5G6 because the rotor head looks mechanically the same as the Lama 2 CNC head.

See how it always turned ani-clockwise in large circles. It should be able to hover in one spot for as long as you want.

Walkera has a good name. DONT release this and keep your public standing!!!

seems kinda pricy for me as there are so many new 4 chnnel helis like that on ebay for 35 dollars and include a transmiter .. if it would have bound to a dx6i radio i could see it as a still bit pricy mini heli..
