  • You do not have to be in a coven to be Wiccan...many practice as a solitary Wicca and Scott Cunningham has some books dealing with being solitary, I believe Raymond Buckland also has some on that subject. You also do not have to be 18 to be Wiccan, you can be so at any age. If your parents are going to give you trouble, you can still do resarch on the subject and by the time your 18 you may know for sure if that is the path you want to follow

  • hi, im a newbie and ive only been practicing for a few months since October, i was wondering if there were any forums or websites with accurate information. i am still practice silently i guess you could say seeing my mother is a tough christian, so are there any websites that have accurate information for me to look at and build off of?any help would be appreciated

    blessed be

  • @motheearthlives - I sent you a pm. Youtube gave me an error when I tried to put the info here.

  • I am sure i ignored some kind of calling ever since i can remember, and i'm thinking thar i have been drawn if not compelled to explore the description of what the wiccan belief system is truely composed of...I really like the way you made this video, and i suppose i would consider myself a newbie if i was still unsure of all the hints, and messages that always come my way. I know i have been way too sensitive all my life, but now at the human age of 48, i think i'm in tune.

  • @jaybob66 - Thanks and good luck with your path. Discovering new things in ones path can be exciting and fulfilling.

  • i want to become a wican...even tho i am only 16 i just turned on december 7th...My friend Firesew toldme about being in wecca and she is pegan. She also told me that it is hard to get into a convoment at my age. My mother forces me to believe in cathlicusum..but that is not were i feel my spirit wishes to learn. i think that maybe this will be what i want but id love more information!

  • @lolfunhasitsways - Any respectable coven will not take you in until you are 18 if your parents do not approve and consent. Until then it is best that you wait until you are 18 to begin practicing. You parents decide what you can and cannot do until you are 18. When you are 18 and if you are still interested then I suggest that your first book on Wicca be Raymond Buckland’s “Wicca for One”. I think it is one of the best and better than Cunningham’s beginner books.

  • This is a great video to help others help others. I appreciate it. I also VERY MUCH APPRECIATE that you let people know how detrimental it would be those of us that are truly trying to learn the craft that if you call someone something like "a fluffy " it may make them feel very bad or make them shun away from the actual learning and seeking the truth of the craft. I love that.

  • @MichelleAimee1972 - Thank you very much.

  • Hehehe. Fluffies.. hehehe... I found that funny. <3 the vid..

  • i am a newbie but i am reading alot of book and most of them machined the horned one. who is the horned one? :3

  • @capricacapwn the horned one is the God/Godess's Consort, no relation to the devil as some people believe, google or search wikipedia ffor the horned god and you will get tons of good information on who he is and what he represents

  • I'm not a newbie Ive been practicing for 12 years but its never bad to retouch things

  • @GothLord66 - I agree!

  • I know very little about Wicca but from what I've seen so far, it appears to be almost identical to other religions. It's remarkably similar to Catholicism with multiple deities (including many females), elaborate rituals, chants and meditation, elaborate religious dress, even the extensive use of candles. I see miracles & magic as very similar. This is not intended to insult. It's just a dummy trying very hard to be less a dummy. So what really is the difference on a spiritual level? Thomas

  • @tdfisk - There is a joke in the pagan community that Catholic are pagan and just don’t know it yet. I suspect it is because the Catholic Church absorbed many pagan practices over the centuries in an effort to convert pagans. The difference is in the actual beliefs and spirituality. Catholics and Christians in general are focused on sin, penance and preparing for the after life. – cont…

  • @Neopagan2007 No, Catholics aren't Pagan, but that is funny. The church came from the Roman Empire that practiced absorbing all other religions, with certain Roman requirements. The Catholic church is a direct product of the Roman Empire & continued this practice. During the Byzantine Empire the requirements became more strict and brutal. Of course they focus on sin, penance & the afterlife, that's the basis of Judaism. But there's a lot more than that. BTW, I'm not defending the church. Thomas

  • @Neopagan2007

    thankyou for educating me .

  • @tdfisk - Wiccans focus on this life and making ourselves the best we can be. We do not believe in sin or an ultimate evil like Satan. We do not believe that humans are inherently evil nor do we need a savior. Our morality is not based on a list of “shall nots” backed up by eternal torment if we step out of line. We structure our morality around the Wiccan Rede, “if it harm none, do what you will.”

  • @Neopagan2007 I totally agree with the sin and Satan thing, but I also don't believe there is such a thing as evil. I believe that the things people see as evil are destructive behavior that has reasons. Calling something or someone evil is a convenience that keeps people from struggling to understand. The idea of hell is not only absurd, but about as sick as person can get to believe in. The Wiccan Rede sounds very nice on paper, but Life is more complicated than that. Thomas

  • @Neopagan2007 Please don't consider my responses as argumentative. I honestly do want to learn what Wicca is. I've learned just about every religion & frankly I see them all as basically the same. The one reason I've taken an interest in learning more about Wicca is it's relationship to nature. For me, that is getting more down to the nitty gritty, so to speak. I believe nature has a lot of answers and has so much to give in making our lives full & rich. How does Wicca relate to nature? Thomas

  • @tdfisk Thomas, I'm also still figurin' it out too. I don't think yer a dummy. Yer just simply confused as I am. There is a great difference that will make ye happy: There is no devil. There is simply good an' the lack o' good that is called 'evil' by other religions. There, that help some? I know that much. Feel free to check out my channel.

  • @Erin92100 Hi Erin, beautiful Irish name. What I've learned, Wicca/Pagan appears to be very close to what I've always felt spiritually. I really like the positive feel of it and it's closeness to nature. I'm not a ritualistic person though and there's a lot of ritual in Wicca. The closest I come to a ritual is going outside and totally absorbing nature. It has a meditation affect. I'm thinking of meeting some local Wicca to get a more personal feel. Wicca has certainly caught my interest. Thomas

  • @tdfisk Ah, don't worry about it. I'd talk to RabbitEyes about this kind o' thing. She can help ye get straightened out as to what Wicca is an' is not in terms o' it's relationship with nature. I'd recommend readin' a few books on Wicca written by Scott Cunningham. They are very helpful. This help some more?

  • @tdfisk

the things that seem to be similar between these religions does not make them at all alike. although they have some materialistic things that are quite alike, the meaning of it all is different, not to mention the beliefs have nothing in common. an "outsider" may just be seeing the "appearance" of these religions and not thinking about what the actual belief system is. because after all, the belief system is a big part of what makes religion what it is

  • I have giving a lot of thought and contemplation in my life about Gods. To be honest, I'm 63 and I'm still not convinced that Gods exist, but I still refuse to disbelieve. What I've thought the most about is what would a true God really be like. It was easy to figure that a true God certainly wouldn't have bad human traits. Why would a true God possibly feel things like anger, jealousy, reward & punishment, etc.? I also wonder why people feel that Gods need to be prayed to and beseeched. Cont.

  • @tdfisk -The Wiccan view of divinity is diverse but most believe that there is a divine source that is beyond our comprehension and that it manifests in a form that humans would understand, the God and Goddess and their many forms. Each god and goddess are aspects of the divine; kind of like a mask that it wears when it interacts with humans. The Divine Source and the God and Goddess are beyond the concepts of good and evil. Those are human constructs.- cont…

  • @Neopagan2007 If the Gods and Goddesses manifest themselves in forms humans can understand, that implies to me that the Gods and Goddesses are more than willing to interact and intervene with humans. So why aren't they more direct without formality (ritual)? Your description sound like the Judao-Christian God with only slight differences. I can't comprehend a God being beyond good, the only thing left is indifference. How do you know the Gods and Goddesses are beyond the concept of good? Thomas

  • @tdfisk - The gods are prayed to because that is how you speak to them. Offerings are given out of respect for the deity you wish to interact with. It shows that you are serious and are making an effort to be respectful. Gods don’t have to listen to you any more that you have to listen to anyone else who is coming to you for help.

  • @Neopagan2007 I still can't help but continue asking "Why". Why can't you just talk to the Gods at any time, like I'm talking to you? Why would the Gods need respect and offerings? I would think that a real God can tell if you feel respect. I have spoken to God with a sincerity so profound it was painful and yet I got no answer. I've heard every BS answer from Christians. How would you answer that? Sometimes I talk to the ancient Greek Gods, but I never expect an answer. Continued

  • @Neopagan2007 I would think that if Gods are real, then the absolute perfection of their existence would posses unconditional love. As such, I would think that Gods would, by their own nature, respond to a sincere request for the necessity of a need. I have a problem accepting that Gods are mysterious, why would they need to be? It seems to me that Gods would not have any needs or requirements. Thomas

  • I'm not at all knowledgable in the craft because of the fact of there being so much information everywhere... it's so hard because I live in the country and no one around me knows even what Wicca is and have little support of my friends because they all think I'm a by quote 'witch' and make fun of me and ask me to cast spells, the only thing I've been able to master is meditation in the years of practice and I couldn't even dare trying to cast even a moon spell to help my confidence.

  • how can one tell what info online is great info?

  • @Bastet674 - It is hard to tell. Every book or website is the opinion and/or practice of that person. The only exception is when they talk about historical facts or events. If you want a good reference point then read books by Raymond Buckland, Gerald Gardner and Doreen Valiente. They are the most authentic sources.

  • i'm new to wicca.

  • Hi everyone... and yet another newbie here.. :-D Any help will be welcomed seeing as im having a hard time to learn as i dont really have any support!!. please pm me... i could really use it.. Blessed Be )O(

  • see i was right :)

  • ...fluff = BS... thats what i have always known... why he's calling newbies fluffies well i dont nesisarilly know.. i asume its because they dont know alot about the subject yet so they have alot to learn and have some invalid information...

  • i am kinda both a newbie and a fluffy i love the craft even though i just started i need to do it more but still it makes me like I can truly be me i love it

  • @gamerfun123 bless it be you will do just fine we all were like this may the light keep guideing you so mote it be REV<Wolfeyes

  • @revwolfeyes

    thank you

  • Pt. 1 To All Newbies... Read Wicca and Witchcraft for Dummies 1 Chapter 1 Day Think on each chapter and synopsis them... Finish this one and you will learn all the basics as well as the Hows and Whys behind the various reasons for the Beliefs and Practices... The Next would be Cunningham Wicca For The Solitary Practitioner... Again 1 chapter 1 day and think on it.... Inner Temple of Witchcraft I think would be the Next step and Follow the Program set within it... HOwever...

  • @Rain4732 PT. 2 I recomend as far as exercises go Meditation... Grounding which is Balancing Energy Centering which is Focusing which can be Light or Intense... For G&C per usual keep it Light.... Shielding and Warding Protection of Self and belongings... Keep Away from Quija, Mediumship, Automatic Writing ETC.... That is all Advanced and IMHO not for newbies... I personally haven't done it myself because I haven't been properly Trained to do so...

  • @Rain4732 PT. 3 Reading Tarot & Runes and even Scrying are Ok Scrying is a little advanced because you need to know yourself well in order to read the symbols that you get while looking also must know how your mood before you started has played a role if at all etc. Spirit Guide work is ok to me as long as you do all you can to bring in those who have Your Highest Interests in mind and heart.... Gods/Goddess IMHO will present themselves as you are Ready as will Spirit Guides.

  • @Rain4732 PT. 4 I did Mention Calling Spirit Guides and I would say even work with The Goddess and The God until specific ones present themselves.... While you can call them it doesn't mean they will show automatically but they will Know you are seeking them and closer to being ready to recieve them. This is based on what I was taught and also what I have learned for myself. Ok One Last bit to add

  • Comment removed

  • @Rain4732 PT. 5 I am Not Wicca though I started there... Personal discoveries have led me elsewhere... I do lead a Wicca format to Ritual though... Can always see roots lol....This makes me no more advanced or better than any other... it is just how it worked for me. I know I have Posted a LOT of Info... Please feel free to take time to digest it all and if you have any questions shoot me an Message on here and I will do what I can to answer promptly. Oh Keep a journal too. BB :)

  • @Rain4732 hey i just got into to craft do you know how i could find a cirlce near me so i can learn from people that have been doing the craft longer then i. any help you can give me would be great. blessed be )O(

  • @carajohnson1 PT. 1 One way to look for a circle is to go to Witchvox.com and go to Local Groups and select your location and start to browse through there. Another way is to go to your local Shops and see if there are any groups that hold Public rituals. Also asking the owner if they know of any groups who are looking to add someone. Attending classes etc in the area would also put you in contact with others. First thing is... Read about the Cautions of joining a Circle or Coven...

  • @Rain4732 PT. 2 Some people are on power trips and will do what they can to take advantage of you. Some people think they are the Grand High Priestess/ Priest of the world and do not know their butt from a whole in the ground. Some people are full of Drama. Some are actually well meaning people who do know what they are doing and walk The Middle road and I would say that is a group to be a part of. One that is balanced. The Dummies book mentions signs of an imbalanced group ...

  • @Rain4732 PT. 3 Ok last one... Feel free to Message me for any further questions that you have. And just stay safe in your search for a group. Solitary practice also has its rewards. There are online groups that teach things as well. I think both ways... Solitary and In person groups have Pros and Cons. I hope to hear how things go for you and I hope it all works out in your Highest "good". Blessed be... :)

    x

  • @Soundtrackfreak10 same here!!

  • cont.. i wish that i had someone like u to help me out. i think i did extremely well on my own. however, i was tempted to do spells that were manipulative. though i'm a good person it was hard when i saw i was getting results in magic so why not get everything. i quickly found out why i can't ask for everything. lol. there r others on here who dare to tell their viewers when doing love spells u can name ur target. i mean sure u can but u will get back lash on that. so good for u to guide newbies

  • Comment removed

  • i think that it's wonderful that u chose to help these newbies in the right direction. i was a solitary practioner of witch craft for 5 years. i originally got into it for the sake of doing love spells. it wan't unit i bought many books and began to understand the true depth of what wicca is all about. i started before all these shows like charmed camed out etc.. so i wasn't so tainted. but i did find that it is a very freeing religion with room to learn, grow spiritually and to make mistakes.

  • Guidance is all we give and all we can do. We have to bear in mind that our personal ways are not the only way. Otherwise you come off as sounding terribley arrogant and arrogance stands in the way of spiritual development. Being honest about who you are will really work in your favor in both the short and long term! Remember that newbies are not necessarily ignorant to the craft.

  • @DannieRush well said my good man. can't disagree there.

  • @fervent66 Thanking you kindly! (whispers - "but im a woman" :D)

  • your lovely :)

    x

  • im a teacher as well n i find some of the things he say well the well he says it funny no affence iv been practicing seence the age of 11 n im know 18 my mum n dad are both pagan n remmember when i was learning n beenin thrown books at and havein to read and reserch my self soyrya is my 1st book i ever had lol its also very hard teaching people when they are not fully wanting to learn this is when i just say right go away medatate think about wether u want it or not then come back

  • im new. i'm trying real hard. i get lost easy n reading and misunderstand things. trying to work on that, that n spelling.

  • @waterbabyayla what kind of spells, are u trying to do ?. what is it, that u

    want to learn ?.

  • @fervent66 i want to learn everything =) my friend is trying to help me but shes....not all there....right now i'm looking at spells for my bf. his health is getting worse n b/c of that hes put on a lot of lbs. we have tryed the doctor over n over but hes just getting worse.

  • i seriously did know a girl who really REALLY thought she was a whitelighter like on charmed 0.0 *facepalm!*

  • @thesmoky1 what is a whitelighter ?.

    never heard of the terminology.

  • @fervent66 its basically a guardian angel for witches and future whitelighters.they orb and instantly heal things, hang out in heaven and whatnot.

  • @thesmoky1

    like charmed XD haha jk

  • @DisturblyDisturbed0 exactly...i seriously know a girl that thinks shes a whitelighter..lol...*facepalm*

  • Very well said..

A wiccan who's knowledge is advance, lead your students not to your own ways, but assist them on how to find their own path.

  • @geminjewel very welll said also.

  • Blessed be )O(

    I am a begginer.

  • same here...although i found out about it 2 years ago and thought about it for a bit

  • @lilwabitgirl what kind of spells, that interest u ?. make a list. i might can help u.

just let me know when ur ready.

  • @MRemocares what is it that, u would like to learn ?.

  • @fervent66

i am not sure what i would like to learn of it just a lot. but at the moment i have no computer and have to find ways to get to one... but manly i been worshipping and thanking gods like late at night cause my mom doesnt agree with my religion that i am willing to take.

  • @MRemocares ok, ur a beginner. spill ur guts my child.

  • Thank you for putting this video on, to be honest i have been raised mormon most of my life, but I have little faith or interest in it, and I have recently decided to follow the path of the wiccan religion, but the problem with this is my parents do not approve, just cuz there mormon doesnt mean i have be also. If Theres someone who would like to be my teacher on wiccan I'd be very honored to lear. Blessed Be. )O(

  • @jayfeatherluver ur parents don't have to know. u can learn spells, without them knowing about it. as long as u don't say anything, they won't know.

u should keep a hidden diary. take notes, n refer back 2 it, when ur doing a spell.

  • this is true. i am not a newbie but i dont concider my self a old witch or w/e lol your video is vary helpful blessed be friend )O(

  • love this video very funny ABOUT THE FLUFFYS LOL the truth is we are forever learning many Blessings

  • I ould like to weigh in here. I have a policy already not to help minors practice behind a parents back. I do, however, encourage teens and tweens to research world religions, get in touch with nature, meditate, etc. Today I thought of another thing: get permission from parents to interview a spiritual counlor of your choice. This could lead to family discussions and harmony...just the right setting for spiritual growth!

  • i just wanted to say thank you! i find your videos very helpful. i have always been intrigued by the Wiccan religion but just recently decided to follow its path. i live in a very rural community. it is very hard to find book, supplies, and support here. so your videos are a BIG help. thank you! blessed be.

  • i can help u on finding books, supplies

from websites, & try to guide u in a dirction if u needed some help there as well.

just send me a answer, & i will try to get back 2 u a.s.a.p..

    c-ya.

  • anyone having trouble locating magic/spell supplies ?.

contact / comment me for a list. of websites,

    that has a huge listing.

    even hard to find stuff.

    c-ya.

  • i would love to ask more questions about wicca i cant do much because i live in a household with two christian parents and i dont really know anyone who can teach me

  • iuse to be a wiccan myself. many years ago. i two, live in a household with christian parents.

maybe, i can help you if u wish ?. in fact, i can give u the name of a wiccan school, if ur interested ?.

the same goes with anyone else here.

plz. plz. comment me. it's easier, than being bombarded with private messages.

    thanx.

    c-ya.

  • ive been studying wicca for about 5 years. im very knowledgeable on it. but y do people claim this religion and dont know anything? i am not wicca i just like to summon spirits and mess with dark spells

  • i am NOT wican i am druid not to cause a fight but i make my own mead and if you want some for a daylie need contact me

  • @deathrider030675 Are you selling non-alcoholic mead? Apple-honey cyser mead, hippocras, melomel and braggot can all be made in a non-alcoholic fashion..but not commonly. If you're distributing any sort of alcohol online, you will need an off-premise transfer liquor license {which can be difficult, time consuming & costly to acquire}. If you don't already possess one you could face fines of $220-$2,200+ plus imprisonment if you don't abide by All of the laws. Just wanted to give ya a heads up:)

  • well i was not selling anything i was offering a recipe and for that i dont need any thing

  • @deathrider030675 Well right on. That's really kind of you to share your own recipes online. :) I wasn't trying to upset you, but if I did I honestly apologize. I was just trying to save you the hassle of any legalities if you -Were- starting an online shop or trade-system. There are SO many laws & confines that go along with distributing alcohol {many of them in Fine Print} and I just didn't want a nice Druid to end up facing huge fines or jail-time.I'm very sorry if I came off as harsh! BB )O(

  • all i need is to find a proper Wiccan shop in my city. and i need to get all the dates clear on festival days etc. i have the bulls horn cup, daggers, skulls, candles, incense. all this i got from non wiccan sources. except for my wiccan star necklace which i found on a sidewalk.

  • contact me. maybe i can help.

a former wiccan, from years ago.

  • I have the same problem. Yet, I also wonder how a God of love can say "burn in hell" because you made a mistake or tried to worship him in the way that seemed best.

Besides, when I was taking bible study in church I heard that "hell" was actually a "garbage dump" in Jerusalem.

Besides, the problem I have with the bible is how much of it is true? Couldn't someone lie in order to scare people? There is no room to learn and grow in faith, for you can't deviate from what the bible said.

  • I am a newbie myself. I started trying to learn Wicca a little over a year ago. I was searching for my spiritual path since I was in High School. Yet I believe that the last month has been more helpful because my mother and I are able to go to libraries.

I was wondering if you knew any books that you might recommend? I checked out three books called "Craft of the Wild Witch"; "True Magick: A Beginner's Guide"; and "Goddess Afoot!"

Is there any other ones that you feel might be helpful?

    Thanks.

  • contact me on a 5,000 spell book

  • "I AM LORD ___ AND THIS IS WHAT YOU MUST READ!" XD lol, great video!

  • I really love your videos, they've helped. I am probably the newest wiccan here, I've only been ''officially'' wiccan for about 3 or 4 months ... Thanks, )O(

  • Thank you for giving these tips, when I was..well I'm still pretty much a semi-newbie, but VERY new so-to-say, I went to a friend who is Wiccan for advice and the problem I found from him was that he was so concerned with the possibility that I would follow his every word [and I probably would have] that he didn't want to help me, he was afraid to. Instead what I got was a bunch of riddles, which I understood only after a lot of meditation, and that actually helped me, I had to discover it

  • Thank you very much! That was very helpful indeed. I'm still new (2 years), I haven't done many spells. I've been trying to practice more on a mental level, such as: practicing patience, respecting change, embracing balance, learning to trust my intuition, doing prayers, trying to interpret my dreams, paying attention to my beliefs. Any advice as to doing more training on a physical level? I'm going to set my mind forth to doing my training.

  • contact me.

  • I really like your videos, very real and honest. Thanks for making them. Also, I'm bookmarking your site to explore later. I'm still new to the Craft (1 yr) and am trying to learn as much as I can. Thanks again!

  • ok thanx appreciate it

  • i like this and i like that you explain that it's about finding your own path i just recently "became" wiccan for lack of a better term and i'm still trying to find my way and i think it is hard to find your own way and not just do what others do because you're afraid to mess up especially with all the mainstream hysteria how if you make one tiny little mistake you can lose your soul or something. believe me if that was true i'd be long gone :P

  • in another vid you talked about love spells, if the spell is directed at someone specifically, will it automatically fail and could it find another target instead of the one .........um requested? or chosen might be a better word

  • I could be wrong, it's quite likely lol but I think the idea of trying not to target during a love spell is to attract the love that's intended for you rather than trying to make someone incompatible love you. Of course, I'm not nearly as experienced as neo and am still "wet behind the ears" but that's my view on it. Perhaps somebody could correct that or add to it?

  • I think it's possible it could work, however, to target someone directly to fall in love with you who does not already have those feelings it would be going against their free will and this goes against the Wiccan rede of harming none. If you have a specific person you'd like to target without the risk of repercussions, you may be able to find a spell which will reveal how they feel about you, I'd advise against trying to force feelings onto someone

  • where would i find such a spell? I'm limited on my ingrediants or whatever most spells call for. I've been trying to locate a spell to help me attract love without taking away someone's free will that doesnt require many "ingrediants"

  • I'm afraid I don't know, I haven't had a chance to try any spells as my resources are limited, my suggestion would be to try the internet and fin one that people have been successful with, remember though, what may work for someone may not work for everyone. I'm pretty sure most love spell ingredients don't require anything that hard to find, just look around, learn about the ingredients, and make adaptations as you feel is right

  • contact me on this subject.

  • what are some simple love spells that require ingrediants i most likely have access to? and id rather not have to ask my friend to go to a store for me if i can avoid it as i cant go myself. I'd prefer a few incantations or something like that....my mom was not happy that I "wasted" a great deal of her cooking supplies, also i felt bad lying that it was only an arts and crafts thing. in my last attempt at a love talismon.

  • careful all spells carry a huge responsibility. i would follow the path and learn about what your doing way before dooing something like that:)

  • soo true on that note. it's best, 2 c if the spell is worth doing. some high priest witches will tell u, 2 avoid the spell at all cost.

alot has to do with the herbs being highly toxic in handling them. the other thing is, the spell can carry harmful reprocussions.

  • @fervent66 lol a little confused here. werent you the one recommending a book on 5000 spells to someone?

  • yes i was. but, the book states some spells should never be done. no matter how much u want to do them.

look at this analogy. if i say, don't pick up a cast iron rod, thats been cooling off, n you chose to touch it anyway,

who would u blame ?. me ? or self ignorance ?.

  • :)):)) ok but here is the catch, if i sell or give a gun to what i know is a child, who is responsible? the gun? child? ignorance ? or the person who knew what it can do?? see you say the cast iron rod and i say.. why offer it? fact is "an harm ye none" is for real friend, and its more real than a cast iron rod.

  • lol. i see your point. but, according to the " majority of our society ", if someone buys a gun & go out & kill, who is responsible ?.

the shooter ?. the store ?. or the manufacturer ?.

with spells, there are some things like, " necromancy " which i stay away from. if it's ur thing, fine.

but, i wouldn't fool around with something, i have little or no knowlege about.

unless, i did some reading on it.

  • I used to be a Christian, and I like to think I still am. However, I like to have an open mind and see the bible more as a book of guidelines as opposed to a book of laws. Many shades of gray, you know? It just doesn't make sense to me to cling to a single possibility when this world is so full of possibilities. And I see no reason that I should have to worship my god in a particular place with particular persons. It seems to me foolishness to fight over religious convictions. Live as they will.

  • that's a very mature outlook i like the way you think :]

  • I agree, the website you have provided is very informative, I'd recommend even non-Wiccans reading it before they pass judgment on something they do not understand

  • I know where you are coming from, although my family is not highly religious, I was raised in a very Christian environment. Despite this I have been fascinated for years by Wicca and magic, and have recently taken a more in depth study into its beliefs, many of which coincide with mine as a child.

    Blessed Be

  • My grandparents are hardcore Christians. A hint of what I am afraid of is that Grandma took it bad when my brother seemed to be breaking away from the Church. He still professed a belief in the Christian God. So it is impossible to talk to her because she doesn't seem to like studying a new religion. I have not even seen her read the bible. She just quotes the preachers and acts as if they are the mouthpiece for God! I don't mind hearing peoples opinions, yet I want to be able to form my own.

  • Thank you for this video! the website that you provided was very helpful. :)

  • Thank you for this video :) Im a newbe on sertch for my Wiccan path. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, it realy helps :D

  • my name is daniel

i am new at wiccan would u be able to help me to learn and study thankyou

  • i know that one :) im christian in that i believe in the same god that i believed in then just i believe in my own way and i allow myself to believe in the same things that i believed in all along like the pagan gods/goddesses as well as mother nature etc...

  • plz email me

  • So, you think it is ok to kill a child for disobeying? You are a sick bastard arent you? What about the babies that cant talk or even walk. I guess it was ok to kill them too? I havent even gone into all the other atrocities. I was just warming up. Thanks for demonstrating to everyone what Christianity does to a persons mind. Dont bother deleting your comments because I got a screen pic. This one was to good not too. I'm done with you. Don't bother coming back.

  • I agree with you. The one thing I cannot stand is child abuse. I disliked reading the Old testament when i was a practising Christian. The God I was taught about said "love your neighbor as yourself..." Then when I read old testament and revelations it depicted God as violent and, in my eyes, cruel. My friend calls him after the God in the book "His Dark Materials".

I just do not see how love can equal hate.

  • LMAO! Oh my! Yes, you are denying that your god is an ass and sadistic. The only thing you proved wrong was that I made a mistake and saying he ordered it in the sense that he told a specific people to murder them. He did pass judgment on them and one of their punishments was to cut the babies from the womb. His punishments were cruel and sadistic and if you agree with them then you are cruel and sadistic too.

  • Also, another example is Leviticus 26:21-22. *Then if you walk contrary to me and will not listen to me, I will continue striking you, sevenfold for your sins. And I will let loose the wild beasts against you, which shall bereave you of your children and destroy your livestock and make you few in number, so that your roads shall be deserted.* Now deny that your god doesnt kill innocent women and children.

  • Wow! A persistent little Christian. You know full well that in your book that your god often uses other nations to punish humans. He is making a pronouncement of punishment that will come to pass. Sure sounds like he has a hand in it.

  • some of your suggested reading list on your website, may be considered by hardcore gardnerians, as fluff. scott cunningham being one of them.

don't get me wrong, i like cunningham, but he states you can self-initiate, which the hardcores don't tolerate

  • Hardcore Gardnerians and I do not get along to well. The book list is a bit on the white light side but I picked them because they are easy to learn from and are packed with good information. Experience and practice in the Craft is what is one of the most important teachers. Those books build a strong foundation that allows people to grow.

  • The initiation debate will never go away will it? It surprises me, because I don't believe that there needs to be anyone else between myself and my gods for them to listen to me. Especially as all ritual is man-made, and had to be made up by someone, even if it was thousands of years ago!

It's where hardcores can get as annoying as Catholics who need priests. I'm not against Gardinian practice, but it confuses me.

  • i agree i think initiation is something that happens between a person and the god and goddess and no matter if you were initiated you still have to make that spiritual transformation

  • jesus loves you

  • So what? His dad is an asshole.

  • BTW Deathrattleshakes, the Goddess loves you too but she won't torment you for eternity simply for not believing in her.

  • Hahahaha. Whose the bigger sado-masochist, the one who punishes you with fire for eternity if you don't obey Him, or the one who KNOWS that and STILL doesn't obey Him??????

  • Actually it would be the one doing the tormenting. Defiance and standing up for your free will to choose does not mean you are a sado-masochist. The father god of the bible is the biggest sado-masochist in liturature.

  • Only someone who revels in death and torture would kill innocent babies in the dead of night just to make a point. Only a sado-masochist would order his followers to cut open pregnant womens bellies and to kill all male children and take the virgin girls for themselves. You wont win this one. I got your entire book to look through to find examples and I havent even started.

  • Typical. He didn't ORDER anybody to do that, it merely says that it's GOING to happen. Show me where he gives an order to do those things you said. You are a liar.

  • *Hosea 13:16 Samaria is held guilty, For she has rebelled against her God. They shall fall by the sword, Their infants shall be dashed in pieces, And their women with child ripped open.* You sir are an idiot and do not even know your own religious texts. You call me a liar on my own channel when I was telling the truth. You are now blocked and you will know that a WICCAN knew more about your own book than yourself. Have fun groveling before a sado-masochistic god.

  • hey i have a few questions if u can send me a messange so i know ur still on youtube lol anyways plz get back with me thanks a lot

  • I really need a bit of help if you wouldn't mind. I really want to be in this religion, but the problem is I just don't know how and where to start. It would be a huge help if you could tell me how to start off and what I need to do, I would be extremely grateful.

  • Check out the link in the more info section, top right, of this video. Click on the beginner's book list on my website. The books are listed in order for learning Wicca. These are the books I like and think are good for the beginner. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

  • Interesting that you prefer to call them "newbies" I prefer to use the term "seeker" because they are searching, even if they are "fluffy" they are still searching
