i hear the abs on these explorers is a common problem we changed out the whole rear end and everything due to other reasons it went off for a while then came back on what the fuck causes that
hey man if you still have this, one single thing that randomly helped my 1994, 4.0 ranger allot, was putting a m.a.s air flow sensor from a 3.8l v6 or thunderbird on there 96-97, they're a bit bigger, way better flow, it totally changes how it performs..
had it since 96. i have 94xlt red ABS LIGHT in this truck is on bc shit dont work ne more, my dad had a 92 ranger new 2 yrs l8r abs no work. a site said sumthin bout a recall, but owell. Im getting mine backe out. after 6yrs ne tranny problems?
ya the abs light was just a wheel speed sensor 20$ fix just lazy i guess.lol nope no tranny prob just sold it to a buddy with nearly 150000 and no probs. i love that thing i wish i still had it :(
abs light was on because i had mud/dirt in one of the sensors. ok this isnt a fast car and thats not why i posted this video. im not trying to prove anything i had 2.73 gear ratio at the time, it was fucking slow. so stop talking about how ur car is faster, because i really dont give a shit so stop talking shit its fucking anoying getting retarded ass coments.......
sometimes the ABS turns on when im driving, but when i shut the engine off, and drive after the ABS lights dont light up anymore when im driving, so i havent got it checked it out yet.
@abeliscooler you wouldnt stand a chance agains our explorer .. maybee this one... ours has sohc and it will get up to 6000rpms before it shifts in drive it actually has quite a bit of power
yeah but thats when you shift manually and really it doesnt really improve your acceleration much after 6000 rpm cuz most cars have their powerbands somewhere around 4500rpm
I miss my Explorer. It was a '93 XLT automatic that had 215k on it before I wrecked it and sold it. It still ran like a top and hardly gave us any (total of 3 minor) problems. We drove that truck hard too, and weren't too good about maintenance.
So your saying that a less powerful, heavier Pathfinder, is faster than, a More powerful, lighter SUV, from the company thats currently NO.1 In reliability?(My moms old pathfinder needed a rebuild at 150,000, her Explorer is still running at 210,000)
HAHAHA who the hell would put a Flowmaster super 40-seriesmuffler on a junky v6 explorer. You must be 16 otherwise you would have no excuse for your idiocracy. Plus lifting an explorer is like lifting a escalade as in there never actually supposed to go off-road they would break in half if they touched dirt.
Actually I do know know a good amount bout them, I don't know why you would think by my above comment that I don't but I actually do and they are extremely junky and un-reliable.
performance wise, if soo definetly the intake it helped with power and just sounds so much better that was only like a 100 bucks and it took me like 5 min to install. sounds much better.
quick question, did it improve your mileage at all or is it about the same. i have a 94 explorer and my mileage just about sucks. what are you getting currently.
umm i get about 18mpg average. no the upgrades did not noticably help. but when i got my explorer it got horibble mileage. i got on explorerforum and they told me to clean my mass air flow sensor (maf) that helped a lot and my truck ran better.
tss tu explorer esta destrozado... por cierto cuando has salido desde 0?? encima has tardado 13 segundos de 30 a 100 km/h jajaja....

why is this guys ABS brake lights on...
connectart 2 years ago
@connectart ABS sensor seems to be a problem on the box style Rangers and Exploders. My Ranger was the same way, just means ABS isn't working.

it depends for me and where i drive every day it does about 220. if its mostly highway it will do about 300-350 it all depends
raptor3titty 3 years ago
@BrAnDoNmOrE017 mine must do maybe 350-400 on windy mountain highways.
