No offense or nothing, but maybe you guys discussing the seats should look at the speedo, which is in kmh and thus reach the relatively straight forward conclusion that this isn't a US model.

Here, we dont buy Volkswagens with "packages". We buy them from a list of optionals based on the trim, i.e. we select model, trim and engine and then tick the boxes of the extra stuff we want.

Thus we aren't "locked" by packages and trims and therefore people who dont want leather seats can be without.

Agree with you, this is not US model. US model has hose ugly cup holders which does not have lid (slide lid) to cover them up as EU models possess.

Red line starts at 5K. Definitely diesel model shown. Km/h speedo, etc...

This is clearly the European version because it has the wood trim an d cloth seats. And the dash reads in km/h. Every CC in the U.S has the leather seats.

Wrong, or you do not make difference between leather and leatherette which is not the same as leather. Check your window sticker and you'll see it what it says for seats.

I have not seen a CC with leatherette in the states. The day you find one and take a picture of it, is the day i will believe.

this is not the highline model, i know this because the only one with cloth seats is the base model, the rest have standard leather

the U.S. version has leather!!! i had the Luxury CC 2.0 and it had leather.... i know what im talking about. maybe the european version doesn have it...they have 1.6 liter 1.8 liter...which are cheaper.

I dont know about the passat, but i am 100% sure the CC has leather...even in the cheapest package ($27,000)

Wrong. Most models have leatherette, not leather.

highest model is the V6 All wheel drive with all the packages (nav, stereo, camera....) again LEATHER is in the base ($27,000) package!!!

Ugly ass trim choices for the CC this isn't a C-Class or Phaeton or a Phantom for that matter....black and tan with silver plastics not mahogany effect plastics....eww, who would ever buy this car with these interior options I would never know.

looks better thb the regular passat. both inside and out both great cars still

the interior is very similar to my standard passat the only thing that changes its the steering wheel, the climate control system and the tachometer

No actually there are more changes that cant be seen on pictures or video. Door trim designs are different, seats are a bit lower, roof trim material is different, A-pillar is thicker, some buttons are different and plastics are more soft to the touch on the door panels and upper part of the dashboard.

thats a very odd speedometer (how it changes from integers of 10 to 20)

and the tachometer would be nice in a petrol car

All VW's and Audis have speedometers like that. It better for when youre driving slowly, and a car feels faster when accelerating from 0-100, becuase the needle goes up very very fast.

it actually makes sence it switches at 60kph since thats the speed you generaly can drive in urban settlements (or 50kph depending on country) after that you dont need such precision.. but if there are road works and you need to drive lets say 45kph it actually proves nice

yeah.. thats true... i had a 5series diesel before i bought the 3,6l v6 cc and i was all for diesel grunt but this awesome v6 and dsg turned me :D
