Absolutely LOVE this movie. So realistic, hilarious and touching. Foster gets Thanksgiving and family dead on. Stand out performances from an all star cast with asterisks on Holly Hunter, Robert Downey Jr., and Anne Bancroft. Most people can totally relate to this movie. A real Holiday classic. Somewhat overlooked. Simply the best Holiday movie ever.
Trying to find a funny romantic comedy for the holidays to rent, and I came accross this movie Home For the Holidays but it wasn't the one I was thinking of there's another Holiday romantic comedy that I liked who allways went on vacation for the holidays but this time spent it with their families, and I forgot the name of it but it started Robert Vaugnn and Reese Witherspoon that was funny but this looks funny too.
Anyone know the holiday movie I'm thinking about???
Beautiful family movie... realistic and touching! and filmed in my hometown of Baltimore, Maryland -- and directed by Jodie Foster! everyone will be able to relate to this movie. Everyone.
I think this is one of the most realistic family movies out there. They're always so over the top and unbelievable where you're like "nobody acts that way" but this movie is dead on of how families and people in general really are.
Vince Vaughn was in Four Christmases with Reese Witherspoon. =) This is one of my all-time favorite movies.
