I like how this version of Nuclear Fusion isn't loaded with those heavy guitars and stuff, rather a bit mellow. Then again, I've only heard the first two minutes so far. But I love how Alstroemeria Records does this.

Why are so many people clamoring for an anime? Christ, just watch on of the million anime that already exists. Touhou is a series of games made by a man with a vision. I feel that an anime would cheapen that vision, and some other posters here seem to support that idea in one way or another. There are too many people that call themselves Touhou fans yet don't pay enough attention to the games themselves, which are the core of the whole thing.

@Geyrel The opening part of nuclear fusion is played through out the whole piece. The image is different which is why its hard to recognize.

And as for the picture, I'm not sure how that would be confusing. I see Okuu, I dunno who you see.

Then again, Alstroemeria does seem to be best at taking one theme and just adding on from there while looping it, if Bad Apple is any indication.

I dont get Alstroemeria Records.

while their songs are great, they call them remixes/arranges, yet they sound nothing like the originals.

seems like they just slap on the touhou name onto their albulms to help them sell :/

@Lustikk Many of Alstoemeria Records songs have the more subtle undertones of a song. It is still an arrangement, but they can make a song slower and add in the slower, subtle things that most arrangers miss and make it sound different. I can still hear Nuclear Fusion in there.

@Lustikk well if you think remixes are the same song with some fance beats and samples - then yes, alstroemeria records dont do that kind of things.

On other hand they take basic tunes of touhou bgms and make new songs around them. This song exploits second part of Nuclear Fusion, for example. it easy to notice if you pay attention. thats why it is remix.

I persnoaly agree with ZUN : Touhou should not EVER have an oficial animation.

Look at how many people already thinks it is an anime, just from the thousands of good songs (like this one) that could be just out of an opening/ending ?

And if it becomes an anime, hardly no one will recognize Touhou for what it really is, a GAME, not an anime. (But hey, me too, I'd like to see the girls in motion ^^')

@DeathRecon4 dont worry tho, enough ppl are screaming "make an anime" that before long there will be one. but dont expect it anytime soon. the hardest part would be making a storyline. it would have to be a slice of life anime and you would have to shape it around that while still keeping the intrest of the people who play touhou for the action.

@Gridiron992 I don't think ZUN cares if an anime is made, but I think he might care if it goes commercial. A single episode of anime has already been made, and he didn't quit yet. Going commercial would most likely turn the world of Gensokyo upside down. The series is already recognized, as far as I'm concerned, with 10,000 copies of Double Spoiler going within 24 hours. It might not seem like alot, but you can only buy it in Japan and that was only at Comiket. I would like to see an anime still

Maybe because it will suck if people go on about it all the time. Seeing touhou cosplays round every corner at anime conventions would suck. Touhou doesn't need more recognition. It's awesome just as it is.

it not an anime, but this is an arrangement of the song "nuclear fusion" from touhou, a bullet hell game series. the game also produced a fair few well known other arrangements such as marisa stole the precious thing, overdrive, cirnos perfect maths class and even (i hate to mention it) mcrolld... you might like it...

It's pretty abstract, but after a lot of side by side comparison, it seems this is indeed based on Nuclear Fusion. The majority of this song just uses the first few seconds of the original, which is the main reason it is tough to observe. Not until 2:34 is another portion of the original song used, but its abstract style still makes it tough to identify.

Or maybe I've just been trying too hard to see how this song is connected...
