Thanks for the video, this reminds me of my childhood, my brother was dating his now wife in the earlier years, the era when girls loved big engined RWD jap cars. I can remember the day when he took me to meet his new girl in his twin-turbo supra after she finished her shift as a restaurant waitress. Whigfield was playiing full blast on the radio and he did donuts until that car ripped its tyre's to shreds. He drove it home on 2 rear flat tyres ripped to pieces. 90'S!!!!!!!!

Do your home work.... A 500rwhp MkIII will beat a 500rwhp MkIV. The jelly bean is a few LBS heavier and the 6speed gearing means you are always shifting and shifting takes time. Real car guys respect respectable cars. I would put my MkIII up against 500rwhp MkIV and tell me that my car is crap... 7m also

Mk3= ugly body, popup lights, very heavy, constantly messes up, slow engine that breaks easily... The only good thing i see about it is the r154 tranny... Everything else... CRAP

@severdblade Yeah. that is in fact very lucky. I have one. It's an 89 and I have a over heating problem. I did a block test on it. It's either that I have a blown head gasket, blown head, or a cracked block. But I also have a spare, but no time for engine swaps.

toyota continued to manufacture the mkii in limited numbers from 87 to the middle of 88. reason being they had a tremendous surplus of the mkii's 6m engine. this is why you gotta be careful on craiglist posts with no pics. i once drove six hours to look at a *mint* 88 supra, only problem was it was an mkii :(
