  • You're going into slavery, ESAU.

and sadly, reggie white may have been judged for stepping foot in your satan filled house.

  • Thy word I have hid in myheart that I might not sin against thee. All scripture is given ...HINT HINT: I believe weneed to follow the entire counsel of God;s word not just the Torah. BTW no evidence in scripture Abraham had the law. Sowhere does this leave us ??? J believe what Abraham believed and it will be counted to me for righteousness.

  • I like Abraham keep the whole law. We keep not just the Torah.

  • What do you mean?

  • Sadly keeping commandments is what gave the Israelites a heart of stone. At Sinai they said they would keep all that God said. Instead they should have thrown himself on His mercy. Remember the law was given for/because of their transgression. Abraham was considered righteous 430 years before the giving of the law. in short he obeyed gods commandments before they were given. He believed and he was counted as righteous.

  • @Padre365 The Bible doesn't refer to keeping God's commandments as a negative thing. God didn't give the commandments to be a snare to us. And I believe that the law was present before Sinai. How did Noah know to differentiate the clean/unclean animals? Also, in Genesis 26:1-5 God promises to multiply Isaac's seed because Abraham "obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws."

  • The New Covenanant teaches me to walk by the spirit and not the flesh which means we are to allow the Holy Spirit reign in our lives to order our steps so that we may bare fruit that reflects our relationship to Christ. We are walking the flesh when we rely on our own efforts to receive blessing from God, grow in faith, earn salvation or foster our sanctification. As for Passover, feasts and sabbaths I leave these to the conscience of individual believers.

  • @ThePadreone Alright. Since your prior posts were satire I didn't want to be too sure what you meant. I don't think keeping God's commandments should be thought of as an attempt to earn something, but rather a manifestation of our love for Him (John 14:15/John 2:4). Salvation is a gift. When we love God we keep His commandments because we want to lead our lives in a way that pleases Him. When we wander away from His ways we risk replacing them with man's ways.

  • Please note these posts need to be read from the bottom up.

  • Note read from the bottom post up.

  • Hooked on your Hebrew Roots you pick and choose what laws you are able to follow, which house you belong to and wait for the day you and all of the other tribes will be called back to Jerusalem where you will speak Hebrew for all eternity

  • @Padre365 That's a thought-provoking satire. What are your thoughts on Passover and the Sabbath?

  • So how can you trust anything they say or have said for 2000 years? Oh and by the way their experts on archeology are always right about where any biblical event actually happened ... but by now this is no surprise to you and you wonder why your Sunday School teachers were so stupid. But then again they didn't even know we shouldn't worship God er... Yahweh on Sunday.

  • . What happens next we call the Galatians Syndrome where the plain reading of scripture means the opposite of what is said. The argument from silence is deafening. Acts and Corinthians tell us what we can eat and when we can worship, but you will conclude it doesn't mean anything and anytime. Every new truth it is introduced with the phrase the church doesn't want you to know this because the symbol atop their steeples demonstrates their committment to Babylonian Sun Worship.

  • . Next what you freely started, becomes expected because ... now you know the truth. And besides only an ant-christ would change "God's appominted times" which by now you understand it is wrong to celebrate any other holidays except those seven found in Leviticus... yes there are only 7 not 9. You don't notice this because you are too busy learning the proper names for God, learning the everchanging variants and their proper spelling and pronounciation.

  • For reasons I don't understand, about 10 people in our community who began with others to celebrate the feasts have left the faith given to the apostles and no longer believe is salvation by faith alone in grace alone in Christ alone. What follows from my friends statement is a satyrical but accurate summary of our expereinces with these people. I can tell from your response you won't understand. But I could send you the rest... its quite funny.

  • @Padre365 Sure you can send me the rest. I think I'd understand for the most part, I probably look at it a little differently but it would still be interesting.

  • A wise friend of mine says festival keeping is the gate way drug that leads to wacko-sabatarian addiction. First they get you to try celebrating Passover along side of that holiday where you already celebrate Christ's ressurrection.. Then they tell you are doing it wrong. Then its the wrong day, but you can buy their calendar so you will know better for next year. Oh and you have to learn how to tell time again.

  • @Padre365 And why would your wise friend call keeping a commandment given by God a "wacko addiction?"

  • Well done good and faithful servant & thank you Michael for posting this series.
