  • I just take vitamin D, C, A. I hate milk. I like broccoli though and I eat a lot of salmon. I steam it with fresh broccoli, fresh carrots and diced potatoes. I use fresh lemon with minced garlic and oregano as a topping. Sometimes I use garlic butter sauce If I need my fatty fix. Ginger yes. I use fresh ginger and boil it for a hour and put it with green tea. Yes if did make me sweat and I couldn't figure out why but now I know. Food is better fresh and you feel clean on the inside.(*_*)

  • I've been fight acne since my freshman year, and no matter what acne products I use (Neutrogena, Proactiv, Murad, Aveeno, Oxy Pads, etc.) I've still gotten acne..... so now that I'm a Senior and still have awful acne I guess it's time I started changing my diet... :( Goodbye Reeses and Taco Bell.

  • @ThePoRoy it's not all what you eat. it helps, yes but you also have to make sure you get enough sleep, drink enough water and are careful with hygiene.

  • @chippetuss yeh i do all that.. i drink a lot of water, eat apples. fruits, veggies etc... i just miss my old diet and miss my life before acne :( it was so much easier back then without all the skin care products neway thats what i have to do for clear skin i guess

  • I'm a vegetarian, and ever since I stopped eating meat my skin has improved (especially because I eat just about everything you've named LOL).

    I'm glad because my skin is rather oily and my pores are... bleh >_<

  • I'm eating/drinking cranberry juice, cherry tomatoes, broccoli, brown crackers, oranges, blueberries and OFCOURSE alot of water these days. My skin glows like never before!! like seriously, I have never felt so good about my skin because I've always had a bad skin, and it recovered alot! I drink like 2,5 litres of water a day right now lol. It's crazy. But it really helps so eat healthy and drink alot of water if you have a bad skin like me, it makes ALOT of difference.

We cant have hot drinks like coffee or tea or iced tea or iced coffee even though its not hot. Mostly salads fruit vegies and other great things to keep us healthy and dont forget exercise.   • Agree with you on everything except the 1% milk. Studies have shown that drinking skim milk increases the incidence of infertility in women. Milk & meat should be consumed rarely but with as much of the original fat content as possible. This helps slow digestion & regulates blood sugar fluctuations. Also, vitamins D & A are fat-soluble. So when you get rid of the fat in milk, you also lose those vitamins. Vitamin D is needed to absorb calcium. Basically, the less you screw with food the better.

  • This is awesome. I don't really like fast food anyways. >.< But it's really hard because I'm a teenager with a family who basically lives off of quick microwavable meals... McDonalds... and hamburger helper. Which is all disgusting to me. You'd think they'd eat healthier considering everyone but me plays some kind of sport and is active all the time.

  • @088261 I used to have bad acne as a teenager up until 20, I stopped using Oxycutim, Clearsil, Proactive the harsh chemicals that did nothing for my skin and actually damaged my skin.I tried an organic cleanser that didn't have any foam & it was okay after a while I just did away with any cleansers and used a few splashes of lukewarm water and final rinse cold water and my skin is fine.It really is about what you intake in your body.Occasionally I'll use a nonalcoholic toner and moisturizer.

  • Acne scars somebody much more on the emotional instead of the physical side. That's why men and women are looking for natural acne cures.   • I'm telling everyone, DRINK WATER!!!!!!!!!! At least 8 glasses a day, I used to never drink water throughout the day but now I do, and I feel better, my skin glows, my udereye circles and bags are gone, and my hair, nails, and skin are SO much healthier!!!!!!!!!! Of course, eat properly along with that, but drinking water makes SUCH a huge difference!

  • Good video! My grandmother always swore by lemon water (make sure you brush your teeth after!) honey, garlic, and ginger. She always used to say "The more colors, the more nutrients" meaning salads and fruits ahould be vibrant and varied.

  • That's good to know! But we need to look into the fact that most fruit & Vegies just don't have the nutritional value they once had. This is due to a few factors. 1. Depleted soil. 2. Fruit & Vegies being picked before they are ripe. 3. Some Fruit & Vegies get stored for up to 9 months, before they hit the supermarket shelves.

  • @DubVBlondie0419 it's phytoestrogen, which is a false-estrogen. if you were to consume a massive amount of soy, it would effect your body, but if you ate, lets say soy beans with a stir fry, you would be okay. But if you're gonna eat a soy cheese, soy hame and tofu sandwich and drink a soy milk latte with soy whip cream...you need to cut back. lol
