Played UC2 loved it,just finished 3,also a great game,now I feel I should go back and play UC1 since I havnt played it before,hopefully it doesnt seem like too much of a step back after playing 2 and 3

Uncharted 2 was an AMAZING improvement on an already awesome game. This is the thing I like about Naughty Dog, they never cease to improve on what is already a great foundation. Seriously looking forward to Uncharted 3!

Uncharted DF is up to date my favourite game and it's going to be interesting to se wether Uncharted 2 can top that. Preordered it and am currently playing the multiplayer beta that is alot more fun than I expected. I mostly (only) play sp games but this has changed my view of multiplayer.

Uncharted is THE ONLY GAME that I have played with such an interesting storyline. Other games the storyline feels like its just used to lengthen the game.
But Uncharted feels like amovie. You can relate to the characters. What's taking palce during gameplay all ties in with the story. Most gams feel like story and then there is gaeplay. Uncharted feels like 1.
If they were to make an Uncharted movie they can just used the scenes in the game. IT'S THAT BRILLIANT
By "the twist at the end" is this guy referring to the monsters? If so, that was the best twist! Right as I was getting sick of the pirates.... monsters

I honestly don't understand why so many people think XBOX 360 has better games than PS3. I mean PS3 has Uncharted 1 and 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone 2, Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2, infamous....PS3 has A LOT of good exclusives too.

ok let me correct myself. for playstation exclusives psn has virtually no lag but on other games such as madden or nba 2k9 it lags like and ethiopian whore on riddlin. since there aren't too many playstion exclusives out there with online play i say psn has more lag for games i want to play like stf4. one reason 360 lags more is because its p2p and like u said psn has dedicated servers. but for games i like their servers are trash

True, But the reason why Is becuase gears of war basically pushed the limits of the 360. so everyone knows the limits so they can go off of that. Ps3 no one really knows the limits so they go through so much testing to see if they can make it better and better. ...These games do move pretty similar, but Uncharted 2 will not hold a candle to GoW 1 MP... Even though they wil be a lot different.
In Gears you are restricted to streets, and you have to have a plan and forced to work as a team, but in Uncharted you are able to scale walls and climb things, which will lead to some glitches and cheap spots...
Also XBL kicks the shit out of PSN... not even a close call...
SP wise...Uncharted wins...but it is an adventure game, so it should win anyway...

Am I the only person who found the game a little frustrating? Sure it looks amazing, sounds great, good story and whatnot, but the gameplay left a little to be desired, it felt a tad unpolished to me (The Jetski scene is a good indicator of this.. ), but everyone insists that it's near perfect, I must play through it again and see if it's any better the second time around.
Its really not.. like i said wait until Uncharted 2 drops with its multiplayer. Thats the only thing that made Gears 1 bigger than Uncharted. However if you compare the single player - uncharted blows gears away! and the multiplayer in 2 wont be limited to small 5 v 5 scraps!
If they add a few boss battles and maintain the high level of quality in the single player which im sure Naughty Dog will - then U2 will be GOTY! Better than KZ2, Infamous and 360 xclusives (not that there are many!)
Such a great game!! I just finished it this morning. The gameplay, story, and overall presentation (graphics, music, sound) place it in the EPIC adventure genre. Personally, the story was spot-on. it reminded me of (dare I say) indy in raiders of the lost ark
The guys at Naughty Dog are great. And for some reason, I had a slight hint or feeling that reminded me of crash bandicoot or spyo.

That's very true. Sure there are characters in video games that have gotten into worse, more extreme situations, but Nate is just a normal guy. He no super hero or anything. He has all the things we would have to fear in those situations, but he pulls through. THAT'S what makes him possibly the bravest character in video games.
I popped it in the ps3 after a loong time (never got any trophys for passing it because they weren't out yet) and it's still the best looking game I have. And I have Killzone 2. :3

Honestly, blue ray only makes a difference on a big TV.
Still, I can netflix blue ray pretty cheaply.
I'm not even big on buying any movies these days.

Angels and Demons is $16.99 on DVD and $19.99 on blue ray, Star trek is $12.99 for DVD and $16.99 for blue ray.
Pretty darn close. I haven't really used BD-live or whatever, but it's just a few dollars.

Well I se like 1 screentearing per hour playing the game..
And if thats not the case with you folks at ign try to blow some yacky dust out the the console like I do once in a week and it helps every game except ugly Mirrors edge runs perfect..

I honestly don't understand why so many people think XBOX 360 has better games than PS3. I mean PS3 has Uncharted 1 and 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone 2, Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2, infamous....PS3 has A LOT of good exclusives too.

i have a ps3 too but 360 does have better titles and better online. resistance and killzone i didn't like to much and 360 gets their own metal gear solid so yeah. but i do like ps3 better because of the adventure games and at least it won't brake on me. i've been through 4 360's

i think so too. i'm pretty sure xbox will take a step back this year and ps3 will improve. same was the case with the original xbox. better system but not that many games. ps3 is the better system and eventually they will have many good titles too

umm not really. ask anyone who has played both. online for 360 is way better and psn lags way more. one of the reasons i switched was cause its free :)

Its about the servers, if COD doesnt play as fluid as on 360 its not PSN fault, its Treyarchs ..

ok let me correct myself. for playstation exclusives psn has virtually no lag but on other games such as madden or nba 2k9 it lags like and ethiopian whore on riddlin. since there aren't too many playstion exclusives out there with online play i say psn has more lag for games i want to play like stf4. one reason 360 lags more is because its p2p and like u said psn has dedicated servers. but for games i like their servers are trash

yeah that was my fault i wasn't too clear about that. i can't really play my other games online cause the lag is so bad but its not their fault. they should hold the devs for the other games responsible though

thank u dude. Finally some1 else besides me realises that all the 360 has is gears and halo. They say 360 has a bigger library. But its only 2 games they have. They hype 2 games making it look like 200.
Ps3 has Uncharted, Resistance 1 and 2, Killzone 2, Infamous, Lbp, Mgs4, Ratchet and Clank, Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm 1 an 2. Ps3 is the system with the most exclusives.
BTW so far 4 2009 Ps3 has Infamous and Killzone 2. 360 HAS NOTHING. WE ALREADY HAVE THE UPPER HAND.

YES! Those are my exact thoughts. Sony fanboys usually just say Halo and Gears are gay. That's not true, they are both great games, but the PS3 has so many more GOOD exclusives out already AND coming soon.

True, But the reason why Is becuase gears of war basically pushed the limits of the 360. so everyone knows the limits so they can go off of that. Ps3 no one really knows the limits so they go through so much testing to see if they can make it better and better. So the games get delayed big time, but Ps3 will come out with more becuase xbox is working on a new system that's why the 360 is going down in price. but basically ps3 is underrated

...These games do move pretty similar, but Uncharted 2 will not hold a candle to GoW 1 MP... Even though they wil be a lot different.
In Gears you are restricted to streets, and you have to have a plan and forced to work as a team, but in Uncharted you are able to scale walls and climb things, which will lead to some glitches and cheap spots...
Also XBL kicks the shit out of PSN... not even a close call...
SP wise...Uncharted wins...but it is an adventure game, so it should win anyway...

Uncharted takes the awesome cover/gunplay and adds superb platforming, dynamic movement, actual melee combat VS whos lucky enough to press the chainsaw button! ect
Your right though, the multiplayer is what made Gears a bigger game - U2 - AT has it! and its not limited to 4 on 4!

Am I the only person who found the game a little frustrating? Sure it looks amazing, sounds great, good story and whatnot, but the gameplay left a little to be desired, it felt a tad unpolished to me (The Jetski scene is a good indicator of this.. ), but everyone insists that it's near perfect, I must play through it again and see if it's any better the second time around.

Its really not.. like i said wait until Uncharted 2 drops with its multiplayer. Thats the only thing that made Gears 1 bigger than Uncharted. However if you compare the single player - uncharted blows gears away! and the multiplayer in 2 wont be limited to small 5 v 5 scraps!
If they add a few boss battles and maintain the high level of quality in the single player which im sure Naughty Dog will - then U2 will be GOTY! Better than KZ2, Infamous and 360 xclusives (not that there are many!)

Such a great game!! I just finished it this morning. The gameplay, story, and overall presentation (graphics, music, sound) place it in the EPIC adventure genre. Personally, the story was spot-on. it reminded me of (dare I say) indy in raiders of the lost ark
The guys at Naughty Dog are great. And for some reason, I had a slight hint or feeling that reminded me of crash bandicoot or spyo.
The game was great and cant wait to play the new one. PS3 is on a roll.

That's very true. Sure there are characters in video games that have gotten into worse, more extreme situations, but Nate is just a normal guy. He no super hero or anything. He has all the things we would have to fear in those situations, but he pulls through. THAT'S what makes him possibly the bravest character in video games.
