i did not hear this song for a while, i had this dream about 2 turtles.one was small and regular, the other was walking upright and about 8 foot tall... i looked it up in dream dictionary. It said if you have dreams about them you will  experience a spiritual awakening. Oh boy that did happen.each turtle ment something different. the one crawling was a slow one. The Big one walking fast and on 2 legs was what i was in for. I like turtles too. That dream was fun and kinda strange. God bless U

Every once in a while I'll turn this song on and it's always so special....When I listen to it I feel like I've been walking down the rail tracks for ever, but after coming round the bend BAM 02:36 I can see Terrapin Station on the horizon. Its hidden by trees but if you look hard enough it's there. A lot of people miss it. Upon arriving The air starts smelling sweet and the turtles are out dancing...waving there hands to come on over. Pretty soon I start dancing, haha yea me and the turtles.

A couple months later Garcia pulled the plug. Last California Concert.  Saw just the two. The first and the last. Alpha and Omega.

This was the first dead song I heard. (somehow...) I remember it. 7 years ago in 9th grade, my brother had this on a burnt cd. Within months I was a full blown dead head, and remained so untill after my freshman year of college. Since then I've become more integrated, I lost the tye dyes and acid, but kept the music and eurb.

Knowing I had good taste in music and GREAT taste compared to so many in middle and high school I felt somehow better and I was able to not let the students I dispised get to me. I can tell that he REALLY connects with the tune and like he says "Inspiration, move me brightly. Light this song with sense and color, hold away dispare." Truly EPIC, and blows away numerous modern bands with emotional power alone, not to mention the great production crew behind it. I consider this song to be the Opus of The Dead.
