FYI, most of the slowness issues are non existent in the newer BlackBerry 7.0 devices; if you guys want a blazing fast BlackBerry checkout the new 9900 or Curve models; they are MUCH faster and the browsing experience is 10x better. Compare the 624mhz processors to 800mhz and 1.2ghz, much more memory and much more!

insted of removing your battery to reset the phone, why not try to press ALT + right SHIFT key + DEL key (2x) at the same time... that will restart your phone easily... ^_^

WRONG! U CAN turn Event Log off :

alt+LGLG then menu>option>scroll down>menu>hide everything>back>save.

@zipiol That only hides the log. The log is still running, but hidden. You must clear it to actually get rid of it.

Thanks for your help. I do have a question though. Doesn't "hide everything" keep on logging but just NOT SHOWING YOU? My guess is that you still would have a log, and have to erase it to speed bb up, but that it is just not showing you the details?
