Redd Kross is the most UNDERRATED band in the history of mankind. Their music was simply perfect.

I saw them at Goody's in Fullerton some years back, and they were fantastic. They played a KISS song that my friend knew, and they let him jump up on stage and help them sign the last part.

The coolest band ever. 1 million times cooler than almost every band who sold more records. Ingenious grasp of kitsch, irony, pop culture while completing 'meaning' it and 100% sense of fun and humour at all times. Intelligent bands knowing when and how to play 'dumb' never gets old to me. Redd Kross are perhaps my own fave at this.

Brian is a GOD of a drummer. The gtrist died of an OD a few yrs back, right when these guys were about to (finally) explode. Whatta shame! I actually toured w/ them for a few dates in '87 when I drummed for a band called Ultraman (St Louis, MO). I think we did KC, Columbia, and STL with them. Total gentlmen, each and every one of them. And Slapshot was on the bill (Straightedge Boston band) too. Those were some good times, indeed.
